"I've had one of these on my Mossberg 500 for over 10 years. It has a very sold feel - no movement at all in locked position, and is still performing flawlessly after all this time. Couldn't be better."

"I picked one up for my Mossberg Persuader. It worked, but wasn't great, so it was removed fairly quickly. I got a decent amount of wobble on mine, so am not totally impressed. Wished I had passed on this one."

"Was impressed by weight of stock, locked up very solid. Installing somewhat harder than you might think, unless you have the right three allen wrench sizes on hand. Length of pull seemed like a little over 13 1/2. Didn't loosen with firing so far, obviously a big improvement in accuracy over PGO. Do yourself a favor at the range and get low recoil buck for practice. Happy with product, and CTD this time has the lowest price around."

"This fold down stock is great! The push pin lock is easy to use and it locks secure in the open or closed position. Very easy to install. There is a rubber butt plate to add cushion and I noticed just a bit more kick with this stock (probably due to it's light weight) than with the standard wood stock. Overall, it really helps reduce the size of my Mossberg for storage and transportation, but allows quick change to a fully functioning shotgun with stock. Great product!"

"Great addition to your mossberg! Very solid feel. Comfortable. Butler Creek makes great folding stocks and CTD brings them to you for the best price around. Oh and make sure you have several different size allen keys for the installation."

"I have a Mossberg Persuader (500 pistol grip pump) from 2007 or 2008. The pistol grip portion of this stock required extensive modification before it would come close to fitting correctly (I spent an hour with a dremel and a milling machine). I guess Mossberg must have changed something in recent years.Anyway, once I did that, it fit pretty solid, but when folded, the angle was just a bit wrong and the rubber pad did not hit the receiver -- instead, the metal part did, so it was going to bang up the receiver real fast. However, the deal killer for me was that since I'm left handed, and the wire stock is offset to the left, the heavy metal folding mechanism was about 1\" in front of my face, ready to do some 12 gauge dental work on me. I should have remembered that the same thing happened when I shot a friend's Winchester with one of these.Needless to say, it's back in the box, but is now unreturnable.2 Stars because if you are right handed and can get it to fit, it seems useable."

"Great Stock, put on a 500 Cruiser, folds tightly to the side of the gun, when open is sturdy. The final screw is a small one that holds the pin tight to get the stock as tight as possible engage the pin then tighten the screw"
