"I recently purchased 3 of these cameras after reading the good reviews on them on some other sites. I was not impressed. I have several cameras and have tried many different brands. One of the cameras seemed to get stuck in IR mode all the time and took no color photos even during the daylight hours. Also, the timelapse plus feature was hit or miss on all 3 of the cameras. It would function properly one day then not for a few days and then start working properly again for a few days. Not the least bit reliable. Another issue I had was that the timelapse plus feature is a bit misleading in the camera description. The way I understood it, these cameras would operate in timelapse for the time selected in both morning and evening and still be motion activated at all other times day or night. This is not the case. Once the cameras are set to timelapse plus they do not take motion triggered photos at any time in daylight hours between the morning and evening timelapse hours. Overall I felt the picture quality was lacking compared to other cameras in the same megapixel range and in general was not happy with these cameras. I sent them back within 3 weeks and spent the extra $ to get the Moultrie M-880s."
