"Many think about putting together a 72 hour B.O.B, but I was looking to make a very portable 36-48 hr security bag, with a 2nd, larger bag for all the extras. When I first got this bag, I thought it may be too small, but it's plenty big enough for three rifle mags, three pistol mags, a small flashlight with extra batteries, 3600 calories worth of MREs and energy bars, one quart of water, filter straw, cheap poncho, emergency blanket, tiny 1st aid kit with water purification pills, an extra box of ammo, lighter, and a few more small tidbits that I wanted in a fast response bag. I could still fit in about four more boxes of ammo, but the idea was to keep things easy to access. The bag is well made and should hold up to years of use. One pocket inside the bag is Velcro lined, so some of the pockets can be moved around a bit. The only change I would suggest is making two of the elastic strap loops a little larger for slightly larger items, but this is a great choice for a small bag."
