"If you need a knife to throw in your bag, this is great. Large/strong/sturdy and has a decent edge on it. If you lose it or toss it, it can be replaced with out killing your wallet or getting upset about it. The sheath is cheap but protects the knife from tearing other gear up. Excellent value"

"I bought this knife a while ago, after using it for a bit I decided to write a review about it. The blade keeps a good edge, which is good for me because I'm not too great at sharpening. The epoxy finish is strong, and cleans well. The sheath is actually very poor. It's already falling apart, I'm doing my best to up keep it, but treating your sheath like an egg isn't too good for when this type of knife is needed. The finger grooves fit your fingers, but are too far away from the hand guard, and makes it feel wobbley in your hand, but you get used to it , and it isn't too big of a problem. Over all, the knife is very durable and defiantly worth the money. After experiencing the knife's quality, I would have paid much more for it. The only thing that is a draw back is the sheath, but, the great quality and strength of this knife completely outweighs it in the long run. I recommend it as a secondary knife, or a quick replacement."

"For the money, this knife is worth the price CTD charges for it, including shipping and handling. I was expecting a heavier knife based on the information provided. The blade is not 1/4 of an inch thick! It is .200 inches thick including the paint or power coat, or what ever is on the blade. It is also not 14 inches long! It is 13 3/4 inches in over all length. The blade however is 8 5/8 inches long. I was able to chop through 1 inch thick dried Mesquite branches with relatively little effort. I also chopped through some kiln dried 2 X 2 in very little time. I examined the edge under 10X magnification afterwards and saw no degradation. Even the coating on the blade looked no different from my tests. The sheath retains the knife nicely but the material it is made of is not very rugged. I expect the knife will last a lot longer than the sheath. Ill probably buy some leather and make my own sheath for this knife. If you are looking for an inexpensive utility / camp knife this one could be it. I gave it three bullets due to the sheath. I would probably rate the knife on it\uFFFDs own At four bullets."
