"It's not a Harris but close to it. I mounted it on my rifle within minutes, and took it to the range. I shot over 300 rounds on my Remington 700 .308 rifle. It kept me on target with no problems at all, and planning to buy a few more for my other rifles."

"I have ordered several UTG items in the past, and have never been disappointed. For recreational shooting UTG offers the best bang for your buck. I have one other UTG bipod and it\uFFFDs ok. I thought it was sufficient for the price. I put it on my M&P 15-22 which works well for that gun. Recently I bought a BM AR-15, so I wanted something a little more stout. I figured I\uFFFDd try this one before ordering a Harris. First impression. WOW! This thing is one bad mother. Secure, sound, and quality all the way. In my opinion this is the one you need to buy. For most of us, we use it to stabilize the weapon at the range or out in the woods somewhere. For this purpose this is an AWESOME and affordable option. That being said a lot of people knock UTG for being air soft equipment to which I reply, \uFFFDBe honest. Are you storming hills or kicking in doors in Iraq? I\uFFFDm not so I\uFFFDm ok with paying less. However, if you want to pay more so you can brag at the range, then you go right ahead buddy. I\uFFFDll just buy more ammo with the money I save\uFFFD."

"This bipod is great, attaches to my Marlin XL-7 easily, and snug! Holds the gun steady, and no problems at all on the range. I'm not wild about the \"Pan\" function, that allows the bipod to swivel left and right, that was not mentioned in the description. It's not a big enough pain for me to take any bullets off of my rating. Love it! Thank you CTD!"

"Order two of these. Used the swivel Stud mount on my 7mm Remington Mag and the other on my Savage 17 HMR. They both work GREAT! Solid as a rock on the 7mm and interchangible with all my other rifles with Picatinny Mounts. UTG (Leapers) is a great product."

"Received in mail yesterday with the intent to attach to my Savage 93's custom stock. The swivel stud adapter would not fit on the gun, as the hole for the pin was drilled too low. Tried on 4 different swivel studs. I guess it's just a lemon. Will be sending it back. Bi-pod seems well made, though."

"Fast shipping by CTD. This Shipped out immediately and Arrived in a few days. They kept me up to date with tracking through FedEx. I mounted it in seconds to the Picatinny rail on my Stag Arms 2T AR-15. It is Sturdy and quiet (no rattles). It's just tall enough at shortest setting for my 30 rd mag to clear the bench when free - standing on bi-pod and stock. It looks cool too! I also like that it allows some side to side swivel action for plinking multiple targets. I couldn't see spending $60 or more to get a quality bi-pod and I'm glad to see that I didn't have too!LOVE IT! Thanks CTD! I'll definitely be back."

"Had to sand down (not much) the piece that fits over the swivel stud so the holes would line up. Took couple minutes but no big problem. Other than that bipod seems well made, definitely worth the money I paid. Installed on a Savage .17hmr."

"I've mounted this on 3 guns with no problem. Two were via sling swivel and onw with an AR-15 picatinny mount. It is surprisingly good quality compared with a Harris. Given the fact that you can get three of these for one Harris, you can't go wrong."

"Just received this bipod in the mail and I have to admit, due to the price, I was a bit anxious. I went solely on the reviews and purchased it. I mounted it to my M4 last night and this thing is top quality. The springs secure the legs very, very nicely. It actually takes a bit of force to fold them down into position. The collapsible feature on the legs is great quality as well. The legs spring out immediately to full length at the press of a button and lock very securely. I would definitely purchase another for any other rifle. I see no reason to spend more on a name brand bipod."

"I needed a bipod to zero the iron sights on my wasr and this did the job nicely. For the money I expected this to be cheaply made but it is pretty heavy duty. I have the UTG front hangaurd with the rails on 4 sides and with this mounted on the bottom rail closest to the muzzle, with the legs not extended and the gun resting on the buttstock, a 30 round mag has about a 1/4 inch of clearance between the bottom of the mag and the table (it doesn't rest on the mag). Good Stuff"

"I bought this from CTD a while ago to use with my Colt .22 Ops tactical rifle. It works great. I used bi-pods and tri-pods for over 20 years in the Military, none of the bipods from the 70's 80's or 90's could come close to the usefullness of this product. It fits perfectly on the rail and had the swivel stud mount if I wanted to go that way on a different rifle. I like this one specifically because of the possible height when the legs are fully extended. With a 30 round magazine in the Colt rifle, you need to clear 12 inches and this one does that. And from a table mount, it's a very sturdy platform for benchresting. I gotta say, this was money well spent, and once again, CTD had the best price I could find."

"First, the shipping was fast as usual. second, this bipod was very simple to install it took a total of 5 minutes and if you are mounting to your sling stud don't worry about having to leave the sling off there is another sling stud on the under side of the bipod."

"Awesome addition to my S&W M&P 15-22!!! I have had it for almost a year now and not one problem. Shot several thousand rounds with it on and not any issues. I can't comment on how this will hold up to larger calibers but I am considering getting one for my AR-15 and Mosin Nagant given the price and durability I have seen thus far. Thanks CTD!"

"I mounted this on my Rock River Arms Operator 2 and it works great, very stable and height is easily adjusted to fit your needs. The only problem I have with it is I can't fold the legs with my fore end grip attached to the weapon because one side hits the grip."

"It's heavy, made of crappy metal. But for under 25 dollars it definatly does it's job. As soon as you get the slightest dust or sand on it the legs start messing up bad and I nearly broke mine in about 2 seconds if I had used any more force I would have broke it all from a small amount of sand."

"For the money, this bipod is tough to beat. I have one on my Remington 700, and another on my Savage Mark II. Installation on both rifles took less than 5 minutes. Build quality and stability are solid as a rock, though some loctite will be necessary to keep the screws from coming loose. However, that is a minor complaint considering what a deal this bipod is."

"A little heavy, but very nice piece comparable to the Harris, very pleased. Height of the pod allows for high capacity mags to be used without resting on the bench/ground."

"Absolutely perfect functionality and price. Keeps the rifle steady and accurate. Also has a 15 degree swivel from left to right. The retraction and flip forward function works every time. Never comes loose. Best bipod you can buy in either this version or the shorter one. Don't hesitate...buy this IMMEDIATELY if you are in the market for one!AR-15 w/ UTG Free-Floating Quad Rail Forend."

"I bought two of these, one for my S&W M&P 15-22 and one for my Stag M4.I really got these for my kids (7 & 8). They are too young for standing and kneeling and their arms are too short to shoot prone. No bench rest for my kids :)They are not as nice as a Harris, but for 1/5 the price they are pretty damn good."

"Solid mount, works exactly as advertised. I originally bought this for a Wasr-10 ak-47.... Perfect clearance for 30 round mags; you can let the gun rest on table or ground and only contact points are the bipod and the buttstock. It mounts on solid butt can be quickly removed if necessary to put on another weapon, which i have. Functions great, legs are fully independently adjustable and lock in any position for awkward ground and snap back lightning quick to original position when reverse springs are deployed. Great product and great shipping... Thanks CTD"

"Bought this pod to cut down on the range bags, it is great. Easy to mount and just enough movement to get on target. The legs are solid and hold very well, no problems with adjustments or sliding. If you are planning to shoot off a table, it is perfect. I did not try it from the prone position (nor do I intend to), but I think it will do just fine. I give it 5 bullets, I am very pleased with it."

"Great porduct by UTG. Don't waste your money on a Harris Bipod when this product preforms exactly the same way in function and stability, and will work on many different types of platforms i.e. AR's and HP rifles. Best thing about this product is the price!"
– Ryan

"Had it on my ar15 with night vision scope and I guess the weight was too much for it. The buttons popped off, lost the springs and now it doesn't do anything automatically. It all broke after one times use. Anything UTG will fail you unless you just go to the shooting range. Just pay 40 or 50 for a real bipod."

"The bipod looks really sick and all, and when I'm not shooting with it, it stays up and out of the way just fine. But, I think my gun is too powerful for it, because when I shoot, the legs start retracting. After every three shots, I have to stop and readjust it."

"I've used this bipod on a couple of 10/22s, my .308 bolt action, and even my Knight .54 black powder. It mounts easily to a sling stud and steadies the rifle very nicely. I haven't tried the more expensive brands, but I'm quite happy with this unit."

"This bipod is well built and does its job perfectly. You just can't beat the price on this thing! They could easily sell this for three times the price. The only down side is people were not kidding about the chemical smell from the paint on this thing. It's REALLY strong. I have had it 2 weeks now and it has lightened up some, but I can still smell it."

"Mounted it on my FAL. Mounts easily and I have had no problem with it STAYING mounted after almost 200 rounds. For weapons with heavy recoil, I suggest dropping a sand bag between the shooter and the pod's feet to prevent excess strain on the system. Did not notice any powerful odor."

"I have two of these and love them. I have had no issues with them at all. I am going to be purchasing one or two more to mount on my other .22s. I have one on my AR and another on my 10/22 and love them. Also, dual mounting options is cool, although the sling attachment point is loose when you mount it. They should shorten the stud or give you more washers. But other than that, it is very sturdy. The legs lock into place and don't loosen like reported. Also, the slight 10 deg left or right movement is cool when you're tracking a target and don't want to lift your gun to muck up your tracking or shot. Buy it. You will like it."

"Great product at this price. Not sure what more expensive bipods have to offer, other than less money in your wallet. Stable and durable when legs are extended and retracted. Fits on the Picatinny rail tightly and also has optional parts to fit on a swivel stud if desired. It can swivel left and right when attached. When the legs are extended, it makes my WASR 10/63 look very intimidating."

"This is a sweet bipod. Everything on it is heavy duty. Snaps in position and snaps back, very strong springs. Super easy to install. One touch easy telescoping legs. I leave mine all the way in. It's perfect for a 30 rd mag in my Saiga. Makes for easy zombie headshots. The only reason I gave it 4 bullets is that it is heavy (I guess I should have know that, given the size), but with easy on and off, you can throw it on your MOLLE gear and when you need it, whip it out. It is of good quality. A must buy. Good Hunting."

"This product, from the get go, was more than what I expected. I absolutely love this bipod! Every part on this thing feels heavy duty. The legs are easy to adjust, and the springs are tight, locking in to place very nicely. Easy installation. I would recommend to anyone and everyone. You can't beat that price for what you get."

"Was not sure about buying this bipod after reading some of the reviews, but for the price, I thought I would take a chance. The bipod is now mounted on my Howa .30-06 and it functions well enough to keep it mounted on the rifle. I have yet to shoot the rifle to see how well the bipod functions under shooting conditions. But, I can say from the looks of the bipod and how it is made and what is made from, it will do the trick for the price and I am impressed for the price. I would have given 5 bullets, but the rubber feet smell like a toxic waste site; enough so that I aired it outside for several days and they still stink. Might want to keep that in mind if you plan on using the bipod for a hunting rifle. The game will smell you coming, so be sure to stay down wind. Once again, CTD came through on the price and product. Thank you, CTD."

"The bipod arrived on time and I did not have any of the smells or oils as others have described. However, the adapter did not work correctly with the weapon I intended this to fit on, my Remington 700. Apparently, this is caused by the stock itself; not a defect on the part of the bipod. So, instead of using the screw that came with the adapter, I used another and bingo - it fits on the Remington. Out of the box, it worked on my Bushmaster carbine with no problem. Will be shooting this weekend with it and it seems quite steady. We shall see what goes with the rounds down to the paper."

"I really enjoy shooting prone with a bipod, but I didn't wanna spend a bunch of money on one. This thing is very well made for the price you're paying and is very sturdy mounted on my AR-15. Not sure if it would hold up to the recoil of some larger rounds, but it gets the job done for me."

"Very nice bipod. Comes with hardware to mount to Picatinny rail or to a swivel stud. I have a normal handguard with heat shields, no swivel stud or Picatinny, so this wouldn't attach. I ordered a small Picatinny rail attachment for the bottom of the handguard so that this bipod will mount easily with no further hardware necessary. Very fast shipping and good customer service."

"Awesome product. Just the right height for prone and sitting shots. Looks great on my Marlin 336w in .30-30 Winchester. Also bought buttstock pad. Combined with this and a trigger job, my shot group is at 3in at 800m."

"Decent little bipod. Attached very easily to my Bushmaster Varminter. Pin the extension onto the sling mount, lay the rail on the hand guard, lock it all down with a big nut, and attach the bipod to the rail. Takes less than 5 minutes and you're good to go!! Holds the barrel nice and still so you can pick off the zombies that are lagging behind!! ;)"

"Not bad, I was a bit rough on it and broke one of the legs a bit so it won't stay fully extended. It works fine unextended still though, I think that was due to rough usage more than something wrong with it, it could be built a bit stronger though."
