"This is my very first bi-pod. Bought it for my S&W M&P 15-22. Used it to provide stability at the ranch off the bench, and got bored after key-holing all day! Steady and well built. I love the ability to go between swivel mount and picatinny rail. I would recommend it to anyone looking for some inexpensive stability on just about any rifle."

"For the price, it's excellent. I have shot about 1000 rounds with this on my AR. Buy it. Dont waste your money on anything else."

"I just received and installed this item on my Bushmaster, and was very pleased with the product. It is solid and actually more value than I expected. Very well made and is definitely very flexible due to the included adapters. Unless you are super finicky, this should suit you well.Great shipping time too."

"A very sturdy well made short bi-pod. Put one on a M1A and went to the range & 3 hours & 200+rds later I was even more impressed. I am going to get it's bigger brother as well."

"Great bi-pod I never expected this kind of quality for such a low price it is simply great even when compared to similar products that cost 50+ dollars. I mounted on my DPMS AR-15 and 200 rounds and 2 range trips later it is still just amazing. Buy 1 for each gun and never look back. Thanks CTD for amazing products and great all around customer service and excellent shipping time."

"Fits my Savage Model 11 and does what it's made to do well. I'd recommend one a little larger, as this one presents a problem for any shot outside of the prone position. Unless you set it on the tailgate."

"This is a pretty awesome deal. I put this one on my Remington 597 .22 LR for now. It mounts to a swivel stud or a picatinny. Lookin it over it seems pretty good quality for the price. The legs were a little sticky...but they worked in after slidin them a few times. Very pleased."

"This is a best value winner! Didnt have huge expectations for this but Ive been blown away by the value. Firstly I think a bipod doesnt have to be expensive to work, it just has to hold up the gun, if it fails its not something that will disable your weapon, so I went with this. It's very well build and I've got no issues with it. I got it for $21 on here. If the next model up is available for the ame price get that one as it could use that extra inch and a half otherwise this will do just fine. Don't have any hesitation if youre thinking about this one."

"Works great for what I need it to do. The adapter for the stud is a little bulky but didn't stop me from ordering a second one. Perfect for prone or bench shooting. It is almost as nice as my Harris Bipod but at a third the cost. Nice thing is that I put the adapters on my bolt action and now I can easily move the bipod back and forth between my SKS with a piccatinny rail and the bolt action rifles."

"You won't go wrong with one of these bipods. Great construction. Holds up to .223 rapid fire, 10-22 abuse, and delicate .17hmr shooting. Ill be including another in my next CTD order. Thanks CTD!!!"

"In the past, I've only bought Harris bipods, but they are so expensive these days. I bought two of these and they both feel just like a Harris. I put them on AR's that have rails. I don't think this model can attach to a sling stud like a Harris, but for the money, you should buy at least two. The legs sounded a little gritty, but otherwise were just fine. Outstanding bargain!"

"I ordered one of these for my Bushmaster AR. I did not want to spend a lot of money since I went over my budget on the rifle purchase. Despite shooting from a front rest and rear bag which is a good setup, I wanted to see how this rifle would do off a bipod. On other rifles, I fight height issues due to the target elevation, so I wanted a smaller version bipod. The delivery was very good from CTD and the quality of the product was excellent. I liked the adapters so it adds a great deal of versatility to the bipod. I see no way anyone can miss with this product. I have been pleased with Leapers products and just installed a scope ring/rail system on my anniversary Marlin."

"This bipod is great. Sturdy, all metal construction really puts shame to those other cheap bipods. I like the quick retract feature on the legs. My one problem was that it would not let me clear a tapco 30 round magazine from an SKS on a flat surface. However, I don't see it as a problem, so 5 stars from me."

"A very nice bipod. However, it won't clear a 30 rd. mag on my DPMS flattop with barrel mount. However, it works excellent on my 10/22 with a Tapco stock mounted on the bottom rail. I will be ordering the taller model for my AR."

"I purchased this inexpensive bipod for my AR thinking it would be worthless; man was I wrong! This thing kicks butt! It is very sturdy and well constructed. I figured they mislabeled and put UTG instead of Harris but I was so wrong. UTG makes exceptionally outstanding products and this furthermore proves that statement. Buy this, and you will not regret it one bit."

"I can't believe how fast they shipped this. I ordered it last night around 7pm. I just checked my e-mail and it says it'll be delivered today. Being skeptical, I checked that tracking number and, yes, even though I paid for standard 3-5 day shipping, it's already on the truck to be delivered today. I place the order and bam! it shows up."

"Mounted on my DPMS no problem. Seems durable, but one or both of the expandable feet always, always retracted when shooting my .450 Bushie. They just wouldn't stay locked out. That being said, no problems with my 5.56 upper so it must be the heavy recoil."

"I bought this for my standard M1A synthetic stock rifle and it works awesome. I did how ever have to buy a quick detachable super swivel because I didn't have rails on my rifle. After I installed the swivel and use the provided attachment it works awesome."

"I bought this for my Savage .17 HMR and I really can't complain. The install was pretty easy. I had to take my swivel stud out because the attachment piece was too long and the pin wouldn't go through, but once installed, it holds really steady. The only problem is the left leg seems to be off just a little and it makes your scope picture look crooked."

"This is a nice setup for the price and install was very easy! In my opinion its shorter than what I thought it would be. It would have been nice if it had two mounting screws instead of one, would have made it more sturdy."

"I have several of these on bolt guns and AR's. They work well and we have had no issues and we've put alot of rounds down range. I wont use any other brand of bi-pod of this type. They rock and they don't cost an arm and a leg. I ordered this one, the next step up, a couple of tools and carbine length rails on Sunday night about 2 am and recieved all of it Thursday around 2:30 pm. Cheaper Than Dirt rocks!"

"Bought this bipod strictly because of the price. Being from UTG, I assumed it was going to be flimsy and cheap. So far, I've been wrong. This thing is sturdy! I mounted it to my FN FAL and it fits perfectly. The legs are at a perfect length- My rifle doesn't monopod with a 20rnd magazine attached.I've compared this to the Harris BRM-S bipod I have on my Remington 700, the only real difference is the $80 more I paid for the Harris. Don't shy away from this product- very sturdy, useful & at this price, it just can't be beat."

"This bi-pod far exceeded all my expectations for the price I paid for it. Everything functions properly. It is very sturdy and doesnt budge whether mounted to a picatinny or swivel stud. The only drawback is that it's a little bit heavier than I expected, but the only time that's going to come into effect is if you arent using the bi-pod and are trying to hold it steady without a prop. which if you are planning on using it that way then just take the bi-pod off because it comes off in less than a minute. I'll probably end up getting another one very soon."

"I bought two of these for my boys and installed them on their modified Ruger 10/22s. They work excellent. They installed veru easy and seem to be made out of quality metal. The fit was great and they work perfectly. They lock into place great and hold and support the rifle very well. It's very stable and will do the job. I recommend these bi-pods. You definitly want to have a sure, and stable platform to fire from when you have to have accurate head-shots to drop those attacking zombies! Remember: One to the head...Zombie be dead!"

"As with all items being attached to a firearm with screws/bolts, Loctite is essential. Admittedly, it took 4 mags to loosen the screw without Loctite, but now it holds up like a champ. A 2 minute install and it's rock steady. One feature that I didn't notice at first was that the legs, when pulled all the way out, lock into place. Then a push of a button lets the spring loaded legs slide back up before folding the legs out. Finger tightening screws allow for precision adjustment, too. Definitely worth the money. Wouldn't expect this quality for the price."

"First off the bipod looks great. Love how it looks on the AR and on the Nagant, its nice they sent both mounting systems. That being said the bipod has one leg shorter than the other by about 1/4 inch, and if ya have an AR with a 30r clip you should get one a little taller, I wasn't too thrilled with how long it took to get here. I gave it a 3 for the obvious reasons, but I'm still gonna use the crap out of it. Happy hunting guys."

"I was uncertain what level of quality to expect of this thing, given the price, but I took a chance and included one with my last CTD order. Folks, I've got to tell you, this is a great buy! I bought the picatinny rail forearm for G3/CETME rifle ( MGR-289 if anyone's interested ) and the two look incredible together! This is a very solid bipod and I'm pleased I decided to buy it. If you have a rifle with an under-barrel picatinny rail system, you should pick one of these up!!"

"Very good quality for the price. I didn't expect it to be as good as it is. Received it in 2 days with the 3-5 day shipping, so that was great too. I still need to mount it on my 700, so that will be the ultimate test, but I recommend this for anyone looking for a decent bipod."

"This is the second one of these I have purchased. First one is on my AR-15 .223. I bought this one for my AR with a 7.62x39 upper. As with the first one, this is a great bipod. To my surprise it is a OK height to use with a c-products 30 round 7.62 magazine. I thought it would be too short based on my .223 magazines, it still works OK for them. The curved 7.62 is just so much longer. Anyways, my only complaint about this is: I bought my first one last summer along with 2 handguard rails (they only came as a two pack). It (the bipod) mounted to the rail nicely. Added the second rail to this rifle and the new bipod was loose on the same rail. Luckily I had a 1/2 riser to add to it. It was tight on that riser. I don't know if it was the rail (they are the same dimensions) or they (UTG) changed who makes their parts. Either way it worked out and am very happy with this product. I will probably order a third for my 91/30."

"I purchased this for my SKS with the Tapco intrafuse stock with the lower rail. The lower picatinny rail is made of plastic and apparently pretty fragile. I put this bipod on the lower rail, and the legs were a little tough to retract into the operating position which caused the cheap picatinny rail to snap off. If you have a metal rail system, then this should not be a problem, just watch out if you have a plastic one. Overall, the bipod is great! I am very satisfied with the heavy duty design and more importantly the price!!!"

"Mounted this on the quad rail of my DPMS AP4 Carbine and I love it! The only downfall is you need to run a 20 round magazine so the stock will rest while not in use otherwise it rests on the 30 round mag and is unstable."

"First goodie for my SCAR 16S. The leg height is JUST a bit short to clear the mag but doesn't add much weight. A great bipod that works great and don't have to break into the college fund to buy. "Nice little bi-pod. It is a little short with a 30 round mag but works great on 20 rounders. Also the spring loads on the legs seem to be backwards. They spring back from long to short instead of from short to long. It mounts solid and has a nice swivel. Only complaint is that it is a little too short."

"Bought this for my Remington SPS Tactical .308 to see if I even wanted to spend more money on a Harris. It turns out that I will be keeping this on my rifle instead of spending 3-4 times this much on a Harris. This is similar mechanically to a Harris, but the fit and finish is obviously going to be of less quality. Despite being a little more "rough around the edges," this bipod works well and is worth much more than it sells for. I shoot sub-MOA groups with it on my rifle. The only reason I gave it 4 bullets is because it is pretty heavy."

"Very durable, Perfect size, fits very well on my AR without getting in the way of my fore arm grip (when folded up) I am able to leave the it on at all times. Only down side is its not long enough to hold a 30 round mag, and it adds weight to the barrel."

"I bought one to try out, just bought four more. Put them on my M-4, M-21, M-24, M-40, and the original on my 458. The eyelet type attachment is superior to other bipod attachments for this type stock/handguard. Also work well on M-4 quad rails. All went to the range today and performed well under the extended firing shock. This short Bipod worked well with the Beta C-Mag drum on the M-4. Also the 458 had plenty of clearance using an M-4 20 round Mag. They tested out in short and extended leg configurations. Its a steal at almost half the price of a lesser performing winshester bipod you get at WalMart"

"Installed on a aftermarket stock for a Ruger 10/22. Need the swivel stud from the replacement stock to install. Well-made piece. It's best to install with the legs flipped towards the muzzle."
– Glock 22

"First of all I agree with glock 22- it does install better with the legs pointing the muzzle just like all utg bipods I have used. This was for a marlin 22 mag and installed in 10 minutes. The legs are easy to fold and unfold. Sort of resembles a Harris clone. After 300 rounds this weekend including 50 223 nothing is loose and it is very snug. Should have got this over the Caldwell that I got for my 30-06 and save the 20.00"

"Useful, practical, sturdy little bi-pod. Attaches and removes very quickly and easily, and remains quite solid when in-use. Great for guys like me who use bi-pods only for sighting-in optics and then remove them (the bi-pods). Doesn't take up much space in your range-bag.Hint: you have to twist the black "discs" to retract the "legs" of the bi-pod. (Took me about 15 minutes to figure that out...)"

"Great Bi-pod, with awesome functionality and durability. Clean, crisp folding action, assisted by the spring loaded catch. Quick release switches are awesome, and the Locking mechanisms are infallible. It comes with a swivel stud sling mount attachment so it doesn't have to take up a slot on your lower rail, if you cant afford picatinny space.the rubber feet are tough, and well secured on the bottom of the bi-pod. If you were on the line about whether to buy this or not, BUY IT!!! You will not regret it."

"Got two of these, one for a swivel stud rifle and the other for a picatinny railed carbine. The cover for the stud was drilled badly, and very, very far down the threading. Took a belt sander and worked it down to the appropriate height and angle. After that it threaded on pretty well. As far as the picatinny, make sure you have a wide and deep set of teeth on the rail, this has a pretty big cross bolt for the jaws. I had to do a little drill and ream on it, but it fits. For the price, it's worth a little "customizing". Seems pretty sturdy even after a few rounds."

"Shot about 25 rounds through my Howa 308 and the damn bipod started to fall apart at the swivel and the length adjusters. Pay the money for a better one if you use a 308 but I'm sure a 223 will be fine."

"I only gave it 4 stars because I knew what I was ordering, otherwise it would have been 3 stars based on quality. Anyway, like most guys (and gals) I wanted a good deal on a quality item hoping this would be it. This bipod is not heavy duty and I can't recommend it for heavy rifles. For .22's or airsoft or low recoil rifles this bipod will work ok. For the price it's good, but don't think its equivalent to a Harris or even a Shooter's Ridge. Both of those are thicker walled on the legs than this bipod. Honestly, people look at the price, you get what you pay for and this item is fine if you don't expect more out of it than it can deliver. I didn't care for the way this bipod mounts on standard rifle swivel studs either. For guns with weaver/picatinny rails its great. Shipping was scary fast. Thanks CTD!!!!"

"Was on a budget for a bipod for my son's marlin 22 and this really fit the budget. As with all utg bipods it works better with the legs going in direction of the muzzle. Another thing is application- would I put this on a 30-06 or 308? No, but for the price on rimfires or a 223 it is super. I am sure others have put it on hard hitting rifles, but for me if I was on a budget I would go with the caldwell for about the 18.00 difference."

"Just got this bad boy in today- lightning fast shipping from CTD as always. Mounts solid doesn't feel fragile like a toy or some others I've tried. Haven't range tested yet, but as is I'm happy! UTG makes some great products. 99% of the add-ons I have on my yugo are from UTG, the other 1% is the tapco trigger, vert grip, and magazines. If you're debating this one the only thing you should be concerned is as others have stated "it wont clear the 30rd mags" but, that's not a downside for me. It's high enough so when it's shouldered it clears just fine. stop debating and buy it!"

"This Bipod was a steal for the money however, I would not put it on any assault Rifle with a caliber over .223/5.56.(I was using a Sig 516/5.56) I could see a .308's recoil destroying this bipod. The springs are very tight and the Picatinny does rotate (Not in product discription). The legs MUST BE LOCKED INTO PLACE not doing so can cause a serious malfunction to the bipod. Also the rubber feet worked well indoors on the shooting bench(some type of Vinyl). However, on a wood bench (outside) the recoil allowed the feet to jump slightly. I love the way I don't have to remove the bipod in order to store My AR. All in All, this is a good product for such a cheap price. It is a must buy for the weekend warrior."

"Summary: I just bought a DPMS Panter SASS .308 and wasn't sure if I wanted a bipod ... for this price I figured I would buy it and if I didn't like it I could always throw it on a .223. I was pretty surprised how nice this bipod is! It is very compact and in retrospect I should have got the 7"+ model. I haven't taken the SASS to the range yet and not sure if this inexpensive bipod will hold up. I suspect I will end up investing in a more expensive Harris BUT for the money you can't go wrong with the UTG.Pros: No need for an picatinny adapter, the bipod is picatinny. Nice matte black finish matches that of the AR style weapon. Durable spring system, locks in place securely. Cons: The weight of my SMSS is almost too much, the legs do hold in extension but with just a little pressure will collapse. This could be a problem once I start putting rounds downrange. This is not a "con" but you really have to torque down the set screw when mounting on your picatinny rail or the mount will want to rotate a few degrees. I used my AR armorers tool and cranked down on it with some blue loctite, no problem so far. This would be PERFECT for a .223. Verdict is still out for a .308 but I can't complain for the price. yes I do recommend this product."

"The bipod is pretty good quality for the price and does what it is supposed to. The cons is that it is a little short and the worst in my opinion is the horrible chemical smell that this thing has. As soon as I took it out of the plastic case it was very strong, it is like a mix between spray paint and some other chemical smell. It hurts my head to smell it. I am leaving it outside for a few nights to see if it will air out, I certainly hope so..."

"I love this thing. It's solid, extends so you can have it locked short, long, or set the brake anywhere between (perfect for shooting sidehill or on unlevel surfaces). I keep it on the rail of my AR15 most of the time, but during hunting season it sits on my .30-06. The sling swivel adapter it comes with is awesome. It stays on my .06 year round, so I can switch it from the AR to .06 in 10 seconds. The sling still attaches on the .06 too."

"This was an amazing find. The piece is very solid. The extendable feet are a great adjustable feature. The piece locks up securely in both the up and down positions, as well as the feet pads. The quick release buttons work great for putting the piece back to its original position (just watch your fingers). Works wonderfully on my DPMS Oracle."

"I just bought this piece to add to my rifle and liked what I saw. It was a great stabilizer and is lightweight, but I had only one good use out of it. I had a problem with the bolt on the right leg, so now I have a monopod instead of a bipod."

"I was actually surprised with this one. For the price, you cannot beat it. Solid design, and seems rugged enough. I would recommend this to a friend."

"These really are a great Bi-pod for any price. I've spent well over $100 on them before and they never work as well and fit as well as this Leapers I bought and it mounts pretty solid. I put about 1200 rounds using this on the bench on my AR right after putting it on and it never loosened up on me."

"Setup:Rifle: Stag 6H with 24" bull barrel.Handguard: Hogue freefloat handguard with swivel stud mount.I'm taking two stars off this bipod because the picatinny mount is way too lose from the rest of the pod and has no adjustment options; it cannot be tightened in any way. When I lay behind the weapon and load the bipod, this lack of adjustment allows for way too much forward travel of the gun. If you're not using the swivel stud mounting option, your problems may end here. The swivel stud mount isn't the most secure attachment to the grip. A tiny screw secures an extension to the stud, a picatinny adapter is places over this extension and a screw down bolt secures the rail to the stud. The pod mounts on the rail BEHIND the stud, allowing the actual rail unit to move and feel unsecured on the hand guard. All screws were wrench and screwdriver tightened on the unit. For use on a picatinny rail and close distance, this may not be a bad option. However, for distance or precision shooting, you should invest in a tougher, more adjustable setup."

"Great buy. Little stiff, will break it in. Bought for my Archangel 10-22. Looks great. Thanks CTD for the fast delivery. Will do business again. Thanks."

"Great bipod for the money. The swivel is a nice touch, but sometimes makes it awkward when deploying the legs, but I can live with that. I like the size and the weight is not noticeable. Great buy. UTG hits another home run with this one."

"Put this bipod on my tactical .223 and it looks and feels GREAT!! Shot only 10 rounds off of it so far, but seven of the rounds were steadied by a round bail and the others were steadied by the ground. My wife even loved how it steadied the gun!! Really like the swivel stud mount. Feels sturdy and looks good as well. GREAT product for the price. Just might have to buy one for the AR-15!!"

"Works well. Mounts fast and strong but the spring is really stiff and to collapse it takes an act of God. It's also easy to pinch your finger when hitting the button to retract the bipod legs"

"These bipods work really well for the price that you pay. They don't allow you to rotate your weapon to have a level shot, so if that's important to you, get the more expensive ones that allow you to do that. Other than that, I haven't found any problems with them. Nice, solid construction."

"I've used this bipod, rail-mounted, on 4 different rifles of 3 different calibers, shooting from a synthetic table/rest surface for a year now. I've used it with an AK-47 and Mini-30 in 7.62x39mm, a Sig Swat 556 in 5.56 NATO, and an M1A in 7.62 NATO. Although it is not the best option for the higher calibers, it does function fine and has not fallen apart when using with the higher caliber gun on me. 30 round mags are too large to use with this model, I also have the larger Leapers bipod for those, but I rarely use 30 round mags at the range. I did not go into this purchase expecting high quality, but I'm very pleased with this bipod, considering the low price."

"I expected a cheap mail order bipod to be sort of flimsy, but this thing is legit. The legs are adjustable with about 3 inches of play and can be set at any length in between. All of the important parts are metal and the mount is secure, but it's still able to pan side to side a bit. I went shooting with a buddy who had a $120 bipod on his rifle and it looked identical to mine. Couldn't ask for a better deal."

"The other reviewers weren't kidding about this thing smelling bad. Too much sulfur in the rubber feet. But, that aside, this is a well made piece of equipment."

"To the other reviewers: I have notice my cat licking the feet on the bipod, it keeps falling off of the rail, it's machined badly, and the nuts on it look like a kid build it. The legs won't retract back in."

"Shipping was spot on! Yes, the rubber feet smell, but for the money spent and the quality, I gave it 5 bullets. If you are going to nit pick this product, go spend the $100-$200. This is a solid bipod, mounted securely to a Magpul MOE hand guard. For this price, this is one hell of a bargain. Would not hesitate to buy another."

"I recently purchased one of these for my M&P15-22. Installed it on the rail and promptly went to the range. For the price, the quality is very good. I intend to purchase two more; one for my AR-15 and one for my AR-10. I'm impressed, and for the cost, you can't beat it."

"I only used it for sighting in a S-12, and an AK; eventually I'll use it for sighting in an AR. After that, I will never use it again. So for the price, it served its purpose. However, if you're looking to make a bipod a regular fixture on your rifle, you might want to get one that's a little longer, as this one is kind of short."

"For a cheap bipod, this is the best you will find. It's made solidly. If you HAND tighten it, it may fall off. Don't be a wussy, use a pair of pliers, you won't break it and it won't come off. The feet are fine; wipe them with an alcohol pad and they don't smell. Springs are nice and tight. About to buy another."

"I was not sure about this, based on reviews, but for the price, I decided to take a chance. I used it to sight in my AR and it worked well. I like the adapter part that comes attach to the sling swivel and allows the picatinny rail attachment. It holds the rifle up just the right amount off a bench rest to sight in with a sandbag under the pistol grip."

"There is not a thing wrong or negitive that I can find with these bipods. I love them, they feel very firm on my AR! And you cant beat the price! I fitted them to my quad rail and installed the swivel mount on my ruger 10-22 so I basically got two bipods in one! I laugh everytime I see the same product for 60 bucks! 5 out of 5 for sure!"

"I can not say anything bad about this little bipod. I have hundreds of rounds on it with my .22 and it has done great. I did notice that one bipod leg was a little longer than the other, but it does a great job for the price, that is why I gave it 5 out of 5. I hoped it helps you chose the best one you can get."
