"This scope/spoting scope is fantastic. The first thing is the price. These are both a great deal at the current price point. The scope is fantatic when I got mine, it was about to go on my AR-15. I was more interested in the spotting scope, that was until my room mate jacked it from me, and put it on his Remington 700 Tactical. It was easy to sight in, and we were breaking rocks at 200 yards easy. It takes a beating and lasts. The zoom is awesome very clear, and targets are visible at 1000 yards plus easy. The spotting scope is fantastic and it's clear. It holds up and when spotting, I could see the heat waves at 300 yards, and get real close to the targets. I found my new scope company. I plan to put one of the larger scopes on my friends .50 DTC Windrunner. If that holds up, I'm never buying an expensive scope again. No need to do so if it takes a beating from a .50 cal."

"I couldn't pass this one up because of the price. I was looking for a cheaper scope for my Bushmaster Varminter when I came across this. My plan was to put this scope on first while saving up for a more expensive scope. I may just put that off for awhile because I haven't had any problems with the Barska. I've shot probably around 100 rounds since sighting it in and it hasn't moved at all. I don't know how long that will last but if something isn't broke then why fix it, right? It isn't as clear as a more expensive scope when zoomed in all the way but up to about 15 it does pretty good. It looks REALLY good on my varminter. The spotting scope alone is worth it. It's awesome at the range! I would recommend this to someone who takes care of their stuff because I don't know how much of a beating it all can take. I am happy with it."

"Well, I have some mixed feelings about this product. The spotting scope was amazing and the scope was somewhat clear. I got a 6 shot group the size of a nickel out of it at 100 yards. The downside was that it wouldnt be on the same zero point the next time I went shooting. The most it would move is two inches so for most purposes I would highly recommend it, but Im a headshot lover and like to be extremely precise with my shots so I sent it back for a refund to get a higher end scope which I still ordered from CTD because I love their service, but on the bright side for Barska is that I have the hot .17hmr on my Marlin 917V and it hasnt lost zero in over a year so Barska is an awesome company, just not exactly what I want for my new Savage Model 12FVSS .223."

"The price was right, the quality was high, and CTD really delivered. Ordered on the first, in my hands on the third! Already recommended this to several friends."

"I was looking for a spotting scope when I came across this combo. I don't a need rifle scope anyway. At Barska.com, this spotting scope costs about $105, and for less than that, I can have both at Cheaper Than Dirt. As with other reviews, I agree the spotting scope is good, but the rifle scope is junk. Hard to focus, hazy at higher magnification. Set it at full power and you can see nothing but walls of white clouds!"
