"I found these scopes by accident last year before hunting season. I bought this scope and it far surpasses my greatest expectations. It has a life time warranty just like all of the better scopes as well as being nitrogen filled too. Seems like it will handle a pretty good beating without losing zero. As for the power? You can't beat it. Your seeing 2.3 feet at 100yds on 40 power. For anyone that hunts bean fields? Heres your next scope!! Bring that 12 pointer home for sure and not guess at 450 yds if its even a buck. For the money, I'm extremely happy."

"You absolutely cannot find a better scope for the money. This scope is clear, high powered, nitrogen filled, and holds zero. It has a very large 50mm objective which pulls in all kinds of light. Just make sure your rings are high enough so the objective will clear your rifle. Even if you don't have the distance to use the 40x magnification, you can still use it to scope out a potential buck or zoom way in to see where your hitting on the target."

"Look you can spend a ton of money for a \"name brand\" scope. I know because I have in the past. I never will again. This scope has the fit & finish of the major players. Better still, it works just as well. This thing is powerful enough to see the coyote in my crosshairs had fleas!"

"Just received and installed this great scope on my Ruger 10/22. At 25/50 yards while paper target plinking with my Ruger the optics were excellent and extremely clear. I ordered a 3\" sunshade to help with the glare on a very sunny day. This is a great bargain and for a short while I thought I was using a Meuller at twice its price. Don't let this one get away. I used the lowest profile rings and the scope cleared by barrel by 2mm. Way to go Barska."

"I wondered why such a high powered scope cost so little. I found out when I got it. The look and feel of the scope was fine put the sight picture was terrible. Very small area of eye relief with just a minute move blurring out the image at 10x. At 40x there was little sight window at all. Glare also had a major effect on this scope, maybe barska should include a sunshade as done on other models ? Scope did hold zero but the sight image constantly blurring drove me crazy. Not a scope I could recomend unless maybe this one was defective ?"

"Bought this scope to put on my AR-10 because of the features. Worked fine for about a month, then some how when adjusting the power the cross hairs moved and totally knocked off the scope. The eye relief is pretty bad which might be understandable for the price. It didn't seem to hold zero after a couple times at the range either. Save your money and get a better quality scope."

"I bought this scope to put on my heavy barrel AR I built, and I was actually very surprised. The eye relief is very narrow, but with a little practice and for this price I can deal with that. I would highly recommend this for the lighter calibers like the 5.56, not sure how it would hold zero on something like a 300wm but it seems to be very well constructed."

"I've used this scope on my AR-15 for over a year now, and it has never let me down. The only thing preventing me from giving it four stars is the lack of sunshade. It is well priced and well built."

"Had my SKS tuned to 4\" groups with my 4x scope, but wanted more range so bought this cheapie, knowing that the optics weren't perfect, but figured it would at least hold zero- nope. The recoil on the SKS was just too much- my 4\" groups turned into 3ft randomness. Later put it on my no- recoil Saiga 223, and it works much better, but I do find myself re-zeroing slightly every magazine. For 100 bucks, I'm not upset, because I can always slap it on a gun on my wall for looks and not have hundreds tied up in a display piece."

"Good scope for the money - depending on your use... I have mine on my RRA AR-15 5.56 with a 24\" heavy barrel, and I usually shoot 500+ yards.Nice clarity and good light up to about 16X, then starts to dim and fuzz the closer you get to 40X. 1/8\" clicks do make for accurate adjustments, though."

"I bought this for one of my older .22s and I thought the scope was messed up because it would have a lot of flyers on paper, but recently upgraded to the savage mkii tr and now I see that the scope is pretty good. The other day shot a nickel size group at 35 yards which isn't bad for cheap cci ammo. The scope is very good for .22s. I'm pretty impressed with the optics considering the price. The only thing I really don't like is the elevation and windage knobs. Maybe I got a bad one but when you rotate the dials, they don't go up straight, it's kinda hard to explain but it's like they are crooked. Anyways good scope for the price and I plan on using it for a long time on my rifle. Thank u cheaper than dirt!! You guys are awesome!!"
