"Clean and accurate. Hollow point is .....I guess I would say wider or deeper than all others. A great personal defense ammo. And they look sharp too! Lol"

"The Barnes Tac-XPD was very cleanly shot out of my HK USP .40 -- there was very little felt recoil, which is surprising for a low-grain, high-pressure round. Barnes markets this as a +P round for the .40 S&W, but at 1K FPS and change, it's not a particularly hot round as it is. In any case, the expansion is massive, the bullet's fast and slippery, and I prefer this to any of my JHPs filled with a lead core now. The lower felt recoil and the large expansion makes shot placement a breeze, and you can get 2 inch groups easily at 7 yards with the .40 caliber. Happy Shootin!"
