"bought the archangel sparta stock and had to return it because it had stripped threads in the top picatinny rail and ordered this stock after evaluating the sparta. no comparison. this one is a lot lighter and was a perfect fit for my ss mini 14. like to never got it into the sparta stock. very satisfied with this stock. and very pleased with how easy the return of the sparta went. ctd paid the return shipping also."

"I ordered this item and received it within 5 days after placing the order. The transition from the factory to the ATI tactical stock was easy to do. I locve the new look and feel of the ATI product and look forward to using it in my LEO capacity. Great product and easy to follow instructions. I would recommend this product to my friends."

"Couple of issues with this stock. First the drop tube adapter to use iron sights... if you are installing your own iron sights I'm sure it would work, but with the top rail on the gun mounted you can barely see the front factory sight, something to keep in mind. The other two issues are probably just from a bad batch, a screw on the metal insert wouldn't tighten and possibly stripped. This could have led to the final issue of the action would stick when pulled back fully and hold open, but again I'm not sure on the cause. (tried oiling) I didn't take it out to shoot, just returned it instead. Not saying I wouldn't try this stock again in the future, but just going to stick with the factory stock for now."

"Found the stock on sale locally so I gave it another try and still had issues with it on my 582 series ranch rifle. With the stock installed, pulling the bolt back you could tell it was not nearly as smooth as the factory stock. I did take it out and shoot it and found that with full magazines the first 5 shots the bolt would hold open instead of chambering the next round, not the catch mind you, but there was too much friction on the metal insert of the stock to over come the tension of the spring in the magazine. After about five rounds it started feeding normally. I was using cheap steel ammo, tula I think, so that may have contributed. I ran about 60 rounds through that day. After cleaning and disassembling the rifle I found a gouge in the metal insert of the stock. With the factory stock, which had much more rounds on it, I had no such problems. Also when I went to mount my laser, granted it was a cheap NcStar, it would not slide over the plastic rails. If you go for the aluminum upgrade I'm sure it would be fine and I considered this but ultimately I decided to return the stock and just stick to the factory one."

"installation was pretty easy and went together in about an hour. the look of the stock and the feel of it were above average. I don't like the plastic pic rails and that's all i really don't like on this stock. it would be a major improvement to substitute aluminum and charge a few bucks more. i also recommend using locktite unless you want the screws to come loose."
