"This ATI commander sized 1911 came with (1) 8 round mag and in a cardboard box. Neither of which are deal-breakers for me. There was a tiny scratch on the left side of the trigger guard but again. I'm a shooter not a collector. After receiving the gun from my FFL dealer I when straight to dis assembly (which for someone used to polymer guns was a chore but not bad at all once I figured it out). At the advice of my FFL dealer (who is a 1911 fanatic) I took some very fine sand paper to the inside of the slide and where it met the frame. While doing so I was VERY impressed with the overall fit and finish of the weapon. For an all steel frame 1911 with tolerances of literally nothing I couldn't be happier with my purchase. (thank you CTD). The extended bevertail safety with a memory hump was a very nice addition. Like a said earlier, I am a shooter, and BOY DOES IT SHOOT! I ran the crappiest ammo I could get my hand on through it and she ran like a champ. I highly recommend ATI's 1911's for a first time buyer such a myself. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!"
