"I've always had problems with my AR7 jamming, and always understood it to just be that the weapon is unreliable. A friend of mine suggested I just try higher velocity ammo in it and see what happens. I got this and 500 rounds of .22 Long Rifle Aguila Sniper 60gr (AMM-057) to compare. Went up shooting with some friends. We went through box after box of these, maybe 250 or 300 rounds without a single jam. The next day we were low on these and tried out 60gr. *bang* jam... *bang bang* jam... click... *bang* jam... Out of the several hundred a couple were duds, but none jammed. Over all awesome ammo."

"I fired 100 rounds at the local range in my S&W semi-auto. I had no problems with jams or misfires. I would buy again, but I got more smoke than with CCI."

"I am very happy with this ammo. It runs great through my Kimber 1911 .22 conversion, where some other ammo doesn't run consistently. The HP's peel open water filled cans from the short barrel at about 20 yards. It is good hunting ammo for small game (assuming you hit them in the head), but I got somewhat inconsistent accuracy from an older rifle. I am not sure if it's the rifle or ammo. It is not as inexpensive as some of the other ammo out there, but definitely good stuff!"

"This stuff only gets two bullets. Caused me to clean my 10/22.PROS: Cheap and each box has a target inside the box.CONS: Way too much smoke and 1 or 2 dead bullets per 100 rounds. Going to buy the BVAC this time."

"This is the absolute worst ammunition I have ever bought! I tried it in 3 autos (Ruger, Phoenix Arms, and S&W), and all of them had repeated jams, misfires, and one discharged without the chamber closed. I even tried them in 2 revolvers (Ruger and an H&K) and I could tell a huge difference between each round! One loud, the next half as loud, with each discharge in all guns spraying debris and heavy smoke. Every gun had black residue around the chamber after just a few rounds! DO NOT BUY THIS AMMO!!!!"

"My advice to you is to buy the ammo now when they are still available and at the current price. I would highly recommend the Armscor .22 LR high velocity 36 grain hollow point bullets."

"I bought this as a cheaper alternative to CCI for my Sig Mosquito. The Skeeter is notoriously picky so I was prepared to give up some reliability, but hoping it would not be a lot. So far, I am very happy. Only two failures to cycle out of 150 rounds gives me a chance to practice my misfire techniques! Also, it is as accurate as I am. I will definitely buy more of these rounds."

"I normally buy Winchester 555 bulk packs but could not find any. I purchased 2000 of the 36 grain Armscor and couldn't be happier. My Marlin 795 loves it. It is just as reliable and accurate as the Winchester. Only had two failures to eject/cycle out of 250 rounds. Will definitely buy more."

"If you want to practice malfunction drills, this is the ammo for you! Had multiple issues in my 10/22, not to mention the stuff shoots really smokey and dirty. The only good thing is that it's available. Other than that, be ready for some headaches!"

"I received my Armscor .22 lr hollow points today. They shipped to me in three days. Had no problem with the accuracy and, although it may not be the cleanest ammo I've used, I still have had no problems. Good price for decent ammo."

"I bought a Sig 522 only to find that it was next to impossible to get bulk .22 LR ammo (thank you, Obama). After a lot of online searching, I found this unknown to me ammo and decided to take a chance on 3000 rounds. Now that I've shot quite a few through my 522, I'm quite pleased with the purchase. No issues whatsoever, and a very consistent load. Much better than Remington Golden Bullet bulk. A little dirty, but still good for the money."

"Got 2500 rounds of this, happy as can be. As far as jamming, folks, these are 22LR's - known for jamming. Whether you have a Walther P22 or any .22 for that matter, rifles and guns jam because the rounds are smaller. That being said, I had LESS jams with the AMSCOR than REM ammo. LESS! I would never use lead points in an AR style weapon or gun due to dirt and jamming, but my S&W M&P 22 worked just fine. I fired over 300 rounds without a single jam. NOTTA ONE!When these come back in stock you had better buy, because I am buying big."

"I read the reviews & despite some negative issues raised, I picked up 2000 partly because of the price, but mainly because they were the only 22lr's I could find anywhere. I ran a couple mags through my Ruger MKII, and about 400 rounds through my CMMG 22lr conversion kit'd AR. I used both CMMG gray and Black Dog smoke 28 round magazines. I did not have a single failure. Not one. Aside from CCI mini mags, I can't say I've ever had that great of luck with 22's. I will update after I shoot them through my 10/22 and Sig P229 22lr conversion."

"Bought four bricks (2K rds), now wish I'd bought much more, zero failures in 1K+ rds. Yeah, it smokes a bit as said by others, but fires a LOT cleaner than Remington gold HPs, tho they're also zero fail in 1K+ rds. Mostly due to HK416D rifle, 'tack-driver' with bi-pod and red-dot at 100YDS."

"I have had several jams in my Walther P22 with this ammo, none with some other ammo I've used. I have also had a few rounds of this stuff actually blow the brass case apart.I use it in an H&R 999 revolver as well and prefer to stick to using it in that instead of the semi-auto."

"This ammo is dirty, jammed quite often in my S&W AR-22. Fired 150 rounds, 5-6 jams, 10 or more misfires. It cycled the gun most of the time, but was very inconstant."

"Bought a brick and it cycled ok in a 10/22 rifle, but jammed and had feeding issues in 2 auto pistols. But, biggest concern, had one round rupture, the rim of the brass was half gone, stuck shooter in the face, beware, use with extreme care."

"Didn't know what to expect but bought a brick to sight in new Buckmark with Ultradot 30. Needed only 9 shots to be dead on then put 10 out of 10 inside the bullseye using a sandbag rest at 20 yards. I fired 100 rounds with no misfires or failure to eject. Can't ask for anything more except a reasonable price!"

"Fire ruffly 200 rounds each in two different 22's, seems a little on the low power side after firing from both rifles and if not used in a rifle needing a hard bolt recoil it may be an issue. Other than my concern, the ammo fired without fail."

"Purchased 2/500 round bricks of this ARMSCOR PRECISION 22 LR from CTD, because I didn't want to wait in line at my local Walmart. I own both an SR22 and a Smith & Wesson M&P-22. Out of the 800 plus rds that I shot, the only issue I had were a few feeding issues. I clean my pistols after every range use. So, my weapons are always well cleaned and properly lubed. I know there are those who don't clean their weapons unless they've fired 1,000-1,500. I would recommend these to any 22 LR SHOOTER out there! They worked great for my pistols and had just a few feeding issues! Keep your gun clean, properly lubricated, these rds will do the job!"

"Bought 10,000 rounds of this ammo with no problems. Just wish the price would go back down so I could buy 10,000 more. Used in 22lr Beretta pistol as well as numerous rifles with no problems."

"I've used almost 2,000 rounds of this particular ammunition in both hollow point and solid versions, in several semi-auto pistols, a revolver, and two rifles. I've never had a malfunction of any kind, and wouldn't hesitate to buy more. I see no difference in accuracy, compared to other brands, and no difference in the fouling this ammo produced."

"I bought a brick of this worthless junk because of price and availability. Tried firing approximately 20 rounds in my 10/22. Had several jams. 7 rounds finally fired, none consecutively. I see it is out of stock. Thank goodness. I hope you cease selling it."

"I've fired several bricks of this company's 40gr solid tip with no problems, but my first brick of 36gr HP produced so many case ruptures I had to stop using any more rounds from the first box. The pistol I'm using is new and clean, and has never malfunctioned with any other ammo, so I know this stuff is not only defective, it's dangerous."

"Bought a 500 round brick of these to use in my HK 416 semi auto rifle. They ran fine for awhile, although the gun was filthy after using them. Then suddenly I got to a few boxes and started to have ruptures and misfires. In one dramatic rupture, the round backfired so bad that it ruined my barrel assembly. I had to ship the weapon back to HK to have the assembly completely replaced and re-aligned. I spoke at HK and he verified that it was the ammo that was the cause. Been using Federal and Remington ammo in it since and it works great."

"Poor quality. At least one round in every box ruptured the back of the casing. Sometimes it blew the entire back off the casing. I tried the ammo in several pistols and had the same results."

"Hardly a week goes by without our gun club members breaking out their 22lr Walthers, and Rugers for a bit of confidence building. We have shot over 1800 rounds with NO FAILURES: No failures to feed, eject, or go bang! This ammo is perhaps a little dirtier than CCI Mini Mags-But with the scarcity of copper jacketed 22lr, Armscor is a real blessing - Nowhere near as bad as some here claim-Much better than some brand-name lead ammunition, which can't go one mag without a failure to feed!"

"I have a Smith and Wesson AR 15/22. Shot a box and had no issues whatsoever and my gun is very picky (several brands are forbidden to use in the manual). I heartily recommend this ammo!"

"I may have been lucky but I had no issues whatsoever with this ammo. Better than any other bulk ammo Ive bought. Shot through Ruger 10-22, Walther P22, and a Marlin Model 80."

"I have shot only three types of ammunition, Federal, Federal premium gold and Armscor, and this is the best. The diameter of impacts is smaller, more closed that the other / with the Federal ammo."

"This ammo is great. I've fed around 300 rounds through my Ruger SR22, and an old .22 rifle we have. Not a single mis fire, 1 fail to eject in the rifle between the both of them. Very good ammo. My go to!"

"I've been buying and shooting Armscor ammo for sometime. I have a Ruger 10/22, Ruger Mark III 22/45 Target Pistol and a Phoenix Arms .22, and several SAA .22s. I've shot hundreds of these rounds in each one without a misfire or a jam. I clean my guns regularly so I don't worry bout getting "dirty". It's good cheaper ammo for all day plinking.. Highly recommend."
