"Great mount. It allows me to mount a light and laser while preserving my forend space and keeping a slimmer profile than a forend mounting system, plus it all unscrews in seconds."

"Nice mount, well made, at a reasonable price. It reminds me of the mount that comes with the C-More \"Scout\" sight. It's great for mounting lights, lasers, and optics on your carry-handle AR."

"This is a case of \"you get what you pay for\" Impossible to co-witness iron sights with any red dot you may chose to mount on this because forward extension is too high and carry handle mounting point is too thick to allow a clear view. Locking nut comes loose after a few shots. I would not recommend this product."

"I bought this mount hoping to use it to co-witness with a red-dot. Not! As far as I can tell it is useless for mounting on top of the carry handle also. Even with no sight mounted on it, it obscures the iron sights. Not the deal I thought it was."

"This is a great mount for the money if you are using an ar upper with the carry handle. If your one that isn't constantly removing the mount all the time, a little locktight and there ya go won't move or come loose until you want it to.I recommend this mount, and alot of the agencies here use it as well.Mounting light and laser, excellent for the bucks without having to drop loads of money into something so simple."

"I do not like the way you have to look through the tunnel to see the sights. I do like how easy you can remove the whole works fast. As far as the side mounts, it puzzles me how the two top rails a picatinney and the sides are weaver. I am having trouble finding mounts that will work with a flashlight or a laser on the side rails. Quality wise, it is a good value for the price."

"Okay, this is an alright piece of equipment. Mine and my friends came loose constantly. I finaly put a very thin piece of bicycle tire innertube between the carry handle and the mount. I also put some red locktight on the nut. Before installing the nut, I put a flat washer and a locking washer. It should not be gowing anywhere now."

"I put this mount on my rifle and shot it one time. It came loose, i secured it back a second time and the mounting screw broke!dont waste your time or money"

"I was not correct below, the sun of a gun still came loose. I was so mad that I took it off at the rang, left it in the bottom of my rang bag with the scope on it, and have not cared to look for it sense. Don't waist the money. Buy one that attaches in more than one location, or like me, just trade in the A2 for a flat top."

"if you put a thin rubber washer between the finger nut and under side of your carry handle it will not work loose while firing my mount did the same thing so this is what i did and it works very well its on all my ar rifles you can find the rubber washer at any hardware store"

"Kept coming loose, and the thumb screw flew 4 lanes down the range, broke retaining pin, and wasted my money. Don't do the same, get a name brand mount."

"The thing came loose after less than 20 rounds, so I tried to secure it with some purple Locktite the next time at the range...the Locktite held, but the damn screw broke! So I figured that MAYBE it would work on my Colt 9mm (less recoil)...nope...same result even with a much lighter red dot scope."

"I bought one of these after doing my due diligence and reading the reviews of other like-minded individuals. Of course I thought mine would be different. Not so. The mount is too long and front heavy. I would imagine this is why it works loose or breaks the screw. I wound up cutting in two right before the bend in the carry handle. I never shot it prior to doing this and it might still work loose, but I think I've even my odds a little. Anyone interested might be better off buying one of the single-railed jobs that are offered by TAPCO or one of the other manufacturers"

"I bought this and placed a rubber washer with the screw and replaced the old screw with a wing nut. Has worked great and it stays pretty steady. Four stars b/c nothing is perfect."
