"This piece fit very well and has a great finish. Works very well with my Command Arms 1pt Sling. Just watch for the spring that holds the rear pivot pin detent in, i didnt know the backing plate held it in and I lost mine and had to buy another."

"I put this on my Bushmaster M4A3. It fits great and staked the castle nut very nicely. Like another reviewer wrote, be careful of the buffer retention button. Mine shot right into my forehead, could have taken an eye out! Just look up a 'How-to' online if you've never done this before. Otherwise piece of cake."

"Nice piece of kit for any M4 style rifle. My only complaint is that it doesn\uFFFDt work with Magpul single point sling, the hole is slightly too small. After putting it on the drill press and opening the hole slightly it works just fine!"

"I second Goodlogo's post. There are 2 springs that you have to watch out for when your replacing this... The main and the tiny one that holds the main one in... And then the REALLY tiny one that pushes this piece back. Anyway, fun to tear things up and put it back. The piece fit just fine and is at a very good price."

"My first experience with a single point sling has been a great one. Pair this with CTD's sling-100, and you have hands free if needed and weapon 1/2 a second from engaging whatever gets in your way. Nice!"

"Works very well on my Stag, Be careful with the two springs. I advise searching Online for instructions on how to install new endplate, you will save yourself a lot of aggrevation. Just take your time. My M4 hangs nicely at my side and at the ready. I also bought my 1-point sling from CTD. Works great."

"Easy Install, works great. FYI I needed to heat the castle nut to take it off (apparently there's loctite holding it in). Also bolt the anti rotational nut to this mount before putting it on the tube. Perfect fit & function once done."

"A great product that is easy to install (the two springs in the receiver are a little tricky) and looks great. I installed it on my M&P in 15 minutes. CTD delivers again, on time and within budget. Thanks, CTD for your great service."

"I purchased this to install my single point sling. I looked at the other ambi sling attachments and they got in the way of the forward assist. If you are considering an ambi sling attachment, take a close look at this one. I am 100% satisfied with my choice. I am right handed so this is perfect for me. A left handed shooter may want to look carefully to see if this will interfere with the forward assist for them. I am using this on a Stag Arms AR-15 model 2. Be sure and remove your buffer spring prior to take down and be careful with your buffer retainer and buffer retainer spring when installing. 5 bullets for quality and tactical design!"

"This sling attachment is sturdy and easy to install. It works great with the Blackhawk Single Point sling. I would highly recommend both items."

"Great product, exactly as described, and an add on you can easily do yourself to make your weapon more accessible. Check out the videos online and make sure you have the wrench (ARR-186)and trust me, spring for the armorers tool (ARR-537) it'll save you some headaches (especially if your castle nut is staked in place)."

"I ordered this item and had it on my doorstep within 3 days. As stated below, if you haven't done this before look up instructions online (http://www.ar15armory.com/forums/To-Install-Sling-Attach-t49316.html) that was the one I used. You will get a screw and a spacer washer along with an allen wrench. You must put the spacer and the screw into the end plate before installation otherwise it won't stay in place (I didn't know about that till I looked at another site, trying to figure out why mine was wobbling so much) under the castle nut. From start to finish, the whole procedure took about 20-30 minutes. After installation I put the Blackhawk XT sling on it and the Bushmaster O.R.C. hangs well and doesn't move very much. It makes a good alternative to getting a sling that attaches to the upper receiver and lower receiver at the same time. Thx CTD!"

"By brother has an AR that is decked out with every Vltor component there is and he swears by them. This is my first piece from Vltor for my AR and I promise that it wont be the last. Super simple to install and Vltor lives up to the reputation that it has."

"I mounted this to my stag arms AR-15, and bought the cobra one point sling. The fella who mentioned the website to check out for installation was useful, but I found videos on youtube to be better. I am very new to these weapons, and it only took me ten minutes to put this on. A simple install and works great."

"Was a lil worried about round piece to fit into reciever, but it comes with one that is sepparate and can be screwed into either side. Just wish it was black so I didn't have to paint it"

"Great product. Had my armorer at work install it for me to keep me from buying the needed tool. Very solid mounting, and holds the sling well. Not bulky, just right."

"This product is pretty nice for the money, BUT it would have been nice if it came with directions of ANY sort. Thank god I am mechanically inclined. The rear takedown pin falls out and the buffer spring retainer falls out (each have a spring with them so all in all 5 pieces will fall off/out of a Smith and Wesson M&P) when you take the original endplate off. It's also in pieces when it gets there, but you can figure that out (hopefully) it depends on whether you\uFFFDre putting it on right or left handed. Basically the picture you see up there is all the direction you get (it comes in 3 pieces) I am only complaining so someone after me who may not be able to figure it out might get directions. Once on it works beautifully."

"The bolt on button piece didn't fit correctly to the end plate and appeared warped. When installed it left space between receiver and end plate. Wound up not using it."

"Well I put this on two of my ar's for single point slings and they are well made and fit well but I have slide stocks on both of the guns and so I had to notch the stock to allow it to move properly as these protruded in the way...so if you have a slide stock, this is the wrong one."

"After building five or six AR-15's I was tired of cheap endplates that either didn't fit or the finish was not a match for the rest of the rifle. Let me tell you, this is THE endplate for anyone that uses a single point sling. Don't let some of the previous reviews give you pause, a monkey could figure out how the thing goes together. With my current build, this endplate along with my Cobra single point sling, makes for the most comfortable carry position I have ever experienced. I won't build another AR without one. Buy one now, you won't look back."

"Great item, but just one issue. I'm not sure if it's the endplate's fault or my buffer, but I had to Dremel out the inside of the endplate because it would not slide down my buffer tube threads. My buffer tube is mil-spec, so not sure what the problem was."
