"I bought a can of British surplus .223 rounds that also included some bandoleers and stripper clips. The chargers for .223 stripper clips were out of stock so I bought this AR-15 Stripper Clip Guide instead. The discription and picture looked and sounded pretty good so I figured it should be worth the price. Since I had the stripper clips in hand and several 30 round mags to load over and over I thought I might be able to save myself some thumb blisters and time, too. It didn't turn out that way, I'm sorry to report. Maybe it's just me, or maybe I got the one bad Stripper Clip Guide out of the case, but it ended up being easier and quicker to load the mags 1 round at a time by hand then it was to try to force 10 rounds down a stripper clip into a mag. It was difficult to get the first couple of rounds into the mag and by the third or fourth roundthe Guide was trying to slip down over the mag, and the rounds no longer seemed to be heading for the center of the feed lips. This happened to me on two different brands of quality mags, and on all 5 of my mags, so I don't think it was the mags at fault. That leaves me or the Guide to be at fault, I guess. Now, I ain't perfict by a long shot, but I was trying to be careful and make the thing work. I did everything I could think of to make it work, but I got worried I might end up damageing the feed lips on one of my mags, so I chunked the thing back in the box and started loading mags 1 round at a time, again. Its slow, but it doesn't get you frustrated or tear up your mags."

"I bought this to try and speed up my shooting and save time ont he range. It also looked simpler that the tried and true one piece guides sold ten to a pack for under $4.00. Honestly this product plainly does not work. The section that the clip inserts into does not hold the stripper clip securely and the clip drives into the back of the magazine. When the clip stays in place the guide moves all over the top of the magazine and the ammo does not feed properly. I tried many approaches and I just could not get the ammo to feed into the magazine. This device is just not user friendly and offered no benefit over hand feeding."

"I love it - much better than trying to hold the strippr clip in place while you push down - I used to have to duct tape the clip to the mag"

"I thought this would be great, but found out it was just expensive scrap metal. When I tried to load from stripper clips, the tangs inside the loader separated and rounds went everywhere. I find that I can load much faster by hand than trying this. I tried to bend the tangs back into place, but when trying to use it the next time, they seperated again. If you have $8 to throw away, then go ahead and buy this junk."
