"This little guy fits right where they say it should, behind the takedown pin of the lower receiver. It takes out all play between the receivers. It worked too well; very difficult to reassemble the rifle. Then there's the small matter of pushing the takedown pin back out for field-stripping. Had to use a hammer/punch. If you're the patient type, experiment with sanding it down little by little to get the fit you want. I'm not that patient and sent them back."

"not patient enough? it probly took you longer to send them back then to trim them to size. They work great, generally need to be trimmed just a little. Creates a rock solid kit. Accuwedge works just the same way. Both are great products"

"Ordered enough of these to outfit my section. It tightened up their rifles enough to get 4 out of 6 qualified as expert, who normally have trouble making marksman. Unbelievable modification that might help keep us alive in baghdad. Worth the cost!!"

"Fit perfectly into receiver but when closing it down is TOO tight. makes it hard to open again. I shaved off alittle tiny bit and now it's better. Same thing with the red ones. worth the time and money either way you cut it."

"I placed one in my rifle and after I managed to muscle my rifle closed, I could feel the difference instantly. The issue everyone seams to harp on is the tightness. That is what the product claims to do. I do see an issue if you have to break your rifle down in a pinch, in a heated situation. But other than that my rifle feels tighter in my hand and that is what I wanted. I will say that I did not see much difference in my groups, but they were alright to begin with."

"worked great took a little trimming with a razor knife and in about 5 min fit perfect."

"these work fine out of the box (baggie, actually) in my bushmaster, however, my circumstances are probably special. for one, i don't have any fancy gadgets on the top rail.i can sit the rifle upside down, integral hand guard balanced on a hard surface, and hold the rifle closed with one hand while operating the takedown pin with the other. no shaving of rubber is required. remember that hard surfaces won't always be available (maybe your kneecap)."

"I do not recommend these Gap closure devices. I just wasted my money on these and ended up replacing them with Ergo Gappers. They need to be trimmed in every dimension to match the true Gapper. Even after you trim them to fit, they still have too much meat (much more than what I am used to). I though I was saving $ getting 5 for the listed price but I'd rather pay several dollars for one good one that get a bunch of these for this price."

"Like another reviewer said - all it takes is a little trimming and you got a nice tight fit. I'm probably a little more anal than others and spent about 15 mins shaving it just right so now I can open and close the upper just like the factory."

"Hey, YoteAddict, these are made to close up the play between the lower and upper receiver. They are not meant to fill the pistol grip gap. They fit great!"

"I bought this Kleen red accu-wedge first and worked good, but alittle hard to squeeze the upper and lower together. I bought the Black accu-wedge and that one works MUCH better, its softer rubber...so BUY the BLACK accu-wedge!"

"I bought these after reading the reviews and felt it was worth a try. I was right. It really helped out the accuracy on my AR not to mention making it a lot quieter. These work but they are not a perfict fit. I had to take a little rubber of the ones I had but I found that a very easy way to do this was with a dermal tool with a medium sanding disk. I did not give it 5 stars because you will probable need to do a little work to make them fit."

"Not even close to fitting into my Colt LE AR15. I knew some trimming would be needed, but you might as well just find a block of rubber and custom fit your own. Worthless."

"I bought these for my Bushmaster .223 A2, it does take a bit of \"muscle\" getting it closed. But that is the point. Don't \"shave\" it down, it defeats the purpose. After I installed it, there was zero play between my upper and lower receiver. I love it, well worth the money."

"I received my order super fast. This product takes seems to take most of the wobble out of the receivers. Installed them in my Olympic arms and JD Mechine AR rifles. Neither needed trimming. Now all I need are 3 more AR's Didn't give 5 bullets because not all of the wobble is gone."

"With all of the ARs I build for customers, I use the Mako gapper to deal with slightly loose uppers.A decent, cheap fix which deals well with rattling receivers. They require some \"tuning\" with an Xacto knife, but once fit they work well."
