"Got my kit installed. There are a few ups and downs but no deal breakers.Ups:Trigger and pins look nice when installed. Entire trigger group installed easily and all testing of function is good.Selector switch is slightly larger than my S&W M&P15 and I like that.Downs:Trigger guard finish doesn't match the parts it was shipped with nor the lower that I was going to install it on. I am ordering a magpul trigger guard instead of using this one.The finish on the front and rear takedown pins looked like they had minor surface corrosion. I fixed this by refinishing them with the same black that is used for painting gas/charcoal grills that I had in the garage. They match now."

"The trigger guard wasn't very good. And I had to take a slight bur off the hammer. The selector is crisp and it has a nice trigger pull. Once installed was very impressed with the look and feel. I would buy another with no hesitation (just remember to get a magpul trigger guard)."

"When I received the parts kit. I opened it and the disconnector was blued, not stainless. I was willing to deal with that because you really can't see it. Installed it and the disconnector would not disconnect. I had to file a small portion on the disconnector before it would release the hammer into the ready to fire position. I haven't test fired it yet, I hope it works, If not, it still looks good."

"When your AR breaks these replacement parts kits are excellent!"

"I used this kit and made a standard AR-15 with no problems. However this kit lacks a little in headspace, not the kit for building a 6.8 ar15."

"This parts kit looked great once installed but...The lip on the bolt catch was too short, many of the springs were too long and had to be cut. The pistol grip was an extremly tight fit. The disconnecter was blued. Spend the extra money and get a good parts kit then buy a chrome trigger if thats what you want."

"I am giving this product 2 bullets, only because technically it does function. Other than that I can not reccommend it when much better fitting kits can be had for $10 - $20 more. I tried this kit for curiosity and got burned IMHO, I will replace it before I use my AR. Again the kit does function, but the phrase,\"You get what you pay for\", definitely applies to this one."

"I bought this for my first AR build. Although the price is right, I wish I'd spent a few more bucks for the higher quality kit. After I put my lower receiver together, the disconnector would not disengage the hammer. After reading the other reviews, I filed down the disconnector so that it will disengage the hammer when the trigger was released. It seems to work now. Only time will tell for how long."

"I love the stainless steel aspect of this kit but there are some issues. I installed it in my Double Star lower and the fit was fine but the timing of the hammer and sear were way off. The sear needed to be dremeled down. I give this kit 3 stars because it really is a nice setup, but it is not for anyone who is new to building AR's."
