Low profile flip rear sight attaches to AR-15, M16, and M4 flat top upper receivers. May be used as a back up rear sight or a lightweight rear sight to co-witness with red dot or holographic sights. Locks in upright position and a spring loaded release button must be depressed to flip it down. This sight has both 0.199 inch and 0.73 inch apertures on the same sighting plane. This allows both apertures to be sighted to the same point of impact. Four apertures so that rotating the dial in either direction brings the next size aperture to view. The windage is adjusted using a standard A2 windage adjustment drum. One click allows 0.55 MOA change on rifles and 0.65 MOA change on carbines. Constructed of both black oxide carbon steel and black anodized aircraft grade aluminum. Mounted to the rail via a locking bar and secured with a cross slotted, knurled thumb screw.

"So I got this, it's not as advertised. It says that it's fully adjustable, however, there is no way to adjust for elevation. I was excited to be getting this half price of what most flip up rears go for, and with full adjustability. Single plane, windage only. Otherwise, this doesn't come with instructions. So, when you get this, to put the sight back down, there is an oblong tab on the left side of the shaft of the sight, push it in to put it back down."

"This is the best deal on the market. I use it to co-witness with my EoTech holographic sight.Elevation adjustments are not necessary for this sight on the AR-15 since you can make elevation adjustments on the front post sight."

"This is the exact same thing as the GG&G MAD BUIS (which costs 3x as much). This works well, is made well, and is reasonably priced. What else could you ask for? Folds to a relatively flat & low profile and is able to fit under optics. Holds zero as good as any other BUIS."

"the sight works just like i thought it would. great for the price. as far as the comments about not having an elevation adjustment, thats what your front sight is for! rookies. figure it out."

"I have this thing mounted on an Olympic Arms K3B carbine and it's been working great for me. It holds tight to the receiver and the sight wheel stays steady while firing. And unlike the cheap sights that I have tried before, this sight is well worth the money. The only recommendation I would have is to have a smaller aperature for long range shots."

"GG&G makes two sights that look identical. This one was designed specifically to have two apertures on the same plane. One for low light/speed and one that is target/competition size. The second sight looks identical to this, but has a second window below the diopter that displays the range setting. I would have incorporated a third medium aperture, but it wouldn't be $50. Buy this if you want a rear sight that is solid and fast."

"Simple design and operation make this a great BUIS. I don't plan to use my BUIS unless something happens to my main optic, so I don't want something fancy. It lays flat, stays out of the way until I need it, and when I do need it, it works great."

"Bought this for a M4 type carbine I built. Very solid sight. Leveled out my front sight post and hit two inches to the right first shot, a couple of clicks and one shot later and dead center. Feels quality made. Locks in place well and windage knob gives a satisifying \"click\". Only cons is the arpeture change wheel doesn't have that same \"click\", but feels like it's full of sand, and a rear elevation wheel, like something off an A2 rifle would have been nice. Overall? If you're looking for a very well made flip up rear sight that happens to be affordable, buy this."

"I thought for sure I would be replacing this sight because of the price. I was wrong, this is as good as some costing twice as much. It locks solidly up, and folds flat out of the way. It's well made and all metal. A small button on the left side of the sight depresses to drop it back down, took me a while to figure that out. The aperture wheel feels fine, not full of sand as another reviewer said, it just doesn't have an audible click when it rotates. It does orient the same each time, you just can't hear it. I am ordering another one and probably a couple more in the future. Worth every penny!"

"Here's a clue to the one that was upset about the sight not having an elevation, that's what the front sight is for!"

"It appears to be of above average workmanship and quality. It would NOT slide on my flat top upper even after removing the charging handle. It was no big deal because the mounting bracket and thumb screw comes completely off, so it went on in a snap. It does lay very flat, but if I were to redesign this product I would put the allen set screw thats under the peep sight on the other side. This is so it would fit perfectly flat. It rotates from the large aperture to the small aperture very smoothly, and it locks positively into position. Good product for a good price."

"GREAT SIGHT!!!!Folds very flat. Very small. Built very sturdy. Built very well. I dont see how GG&G could build this same sight any better. (this is a GG&G copy). It's been in 2 rain storms. No rust. I'm VERY frugal, and this was a great buy at $60"

"I have 2 of these now. They work great, lock into position well, and return to zero. They are well built, but no heavier or bulkier than they need to be. I think this is the best flip-up sight you can buy for the money. Everything else is around $100, and I haven't seen one I would trade for this one. Buy it."

"It is a nice, small aperture. It is well made and provided plenty of scope clearance. It worked well out of the box, unlike the front sight."

"If you want a well-made \"minimalist\" rear flip-up, this is it. Excellent quality, positive clicks on everything, and lays about as low on the rail as is physically possible, I'd say. Fits easily under my scope eyepiece with room to spare, on a Bushy .450 with a Nikon 1.5-5x36mm sitting on it."

"Great sight! No problems at all."

"Solid- good deal -you get what you pay for, but it locks in place and will remain as a loyal back up."
