An AR-15 and DPMS LR-308 style rifle fire control system from JP Enterprises, Inc. features re-engineered, precision ground sear geometry combined with over travel and engagement adjustments in a nearly drop-in kit to give an extremely refined trigger at an affordable price. Use the rifles original hammer with this trigger group.

The JP single stage trigger is metallurgically improved and features engagement and over-travel adjustments in combination with completely re-engineered precision ground sear geometry, eliminating most of the hammer camming effect so prevalent with the original parts. Disconnector timing is corrected during the installation procedure, thereby eliminating the fire on release or doubling problem, when properly installed. The extremely short reset of the hammer ensures a durable relationship between the parts.

Note that all JP fire control kits now include both the yellow and red hammer springs which will allow for either 3-3.5 pound recreational/competition set up or the 3.5-4 pound tactical set up. The red hammer spring is the minimum recommended for any military type ammunition which has low sensitivity primers and requires higher hammer velocity for full ignition reliability.

Will not work on large pin Colt ARs.

"(4.5 stars) This is a well designed system that essentially controls the excess movement of the trigger group in order tighten the system. I works well and produces a crisp trigger release. One minor criticism. The included instructions are not the best. I highly recommend you follow the included video for the adjustment instructions. I also recommend you fully install the system without using locktight and go through instructions. Once you learn what the adjustments do and what affects the feel of the trigger, undo the adjusting screws, add locktight and finalize the install. I also recommend purchasing the anti-walk pins at the same time. They are cheap insurance."
