"First off, the quality of this item seemed to be worthy of much more than 2 bullets. I liked the design and appearance. Thought it was built well and sturdy. I should have known I'd have issues when my armorer tool wouldn't engage the holes in the lock ring. The ring has two flats for a standard wrench, so I installed it anyway. Then the gas tube wouldn't line up. I was bummed. I REALLY LIKED THIS FOREGRIP. The gal at CTD was very understanding, and set me up for a quick return. As with most reviews, EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I'll try a different style. Maybe just not made to work with my Bushmaster Varminter."

"First time installing a free float tube. Install was easy and quick. Love the way it looks and feels. It's light compared to the carbine length free float that I had on before. This tube is great for the price. A great buy."

"Okay, I know this system is one of the cheapest on CTD. With that being said, I can't claim that this system does not do what it says it will. But I would caution you from a basis of construction. This free float tube screws onto the nut that replaces the factory barrel nut. Once the tube has been tightened down to desired position, you tighten two screws down to hold it in place. My problem with this is there is no established stop in the threads for the tube to hit and then be secured. You just screw the tube 'till it's close to the upper receiver, then just align the upper rails by eye, and tightened the two screws. This has the potential to throw off your front site post if you misalign by just a little bit. Also, if you run a forward grip, eventually by simply handling the weapon, you could cause the tube to rotate, again throwing off your front site post. Too many moving parts for me to feel comfortable maintaining a zero on my sights. So, you get what you pay for. I recommend going with a higher quality system."

"I liked the overall idea, looks and PRICE of this rail. However, the execution just simply is not there. The barrel nut does not fit the armorer's tool and the quad rail itself does not have a stop to solidly mount. You simply tighten two screws to pinch the rail to the barrel nut. Spend a little more for a higher quality rail."

"Bought this to put on my Windham Weaponry AR15 and it has worked out great I carry it everyday working so it gets banged around and has not budged I did have to replace the gas block to install it ( I put a rifle length hand guard on a carbine on purpose) I had the same concerns as others about the \"pinch lock\" but as I said it has been rock solid would definatly recomend this product!"
