"Was a little daunted at the task of replacing the gas block, but thanks to youtube the swap was easy. This block is heavier than the original, but adds good rail space. Now just gotta figure out what handguard would go well with this. Only complaint is that it eliminated the bayonet lug."

"I purchased this gas block to replace my A2-style front sight gas block so it wouldn't interfere with my optics I installed on my receiver rail. The purpose was to install RTS sights on this gas block and maybe a flashlight on the side. When installed, this gas block top rail was about 1/2\" lower than the receiver top rail. Sights wouldn't line up properly and therefore isn't suitable for front sights. It would still work fine for other accessories. I gave it 5 because it installed easy and is designed well; I just didn't read up enough on gas blocks to purchase the correct one for my needs."

"I purchased a DPMS four rail gas block and installed it within 15 minutes of receiving it. Very easy to install and looks great on my newly built 300 blackout upper. I looked at a few gas blocks and chose the DPMS four rail due to price, function, where the set screw holes are located and weight. The rails are not to close together to install multiple accessories at one time. What great gas block very pleased."

"I bought this to replace the stock gas block on my AR-15, since I recently built an AR-10 that had this type on the upper. I love that I can interchange the bi-pod from the 10 to the 15, plus add other features that I couldn't previously. Although I had this replaced by a gunsmith due to recent surgery, the interchange didn't seem too difficult (check out YouTube)."
