"so i was learly about buying this and the fact is 100% satisfied adds tactical look completely to gun and sold and the button release for flashlight is slightly flawed but works great if ud decide to take off and plenty of room for turn to put on flashlights like my surefire which is snug as can be a total must!"

"The design is sound. However, I would love to meet the cranially challenged airhead who decided to put in screws that are only 1/4 inch longer than the span of the holder! Need to go the the hardware store to find longer screws w/ the same threads. The other thing that concerns me is that it is mounted on the barrel (sort of). I hope it does not affect zero. Remains to be seen."

"Just the perfect size I needed for my AR, that allowed me to put my tactical light and laser. I have been looking for one like this, because I wanted to put a bipod and a tactical hand grip that would not interfere with the laser and flashlight. Awesome product. Worked for me at least."

"Exactly what I wanted! Works great on M4A3 using the sling swivel to operate. Solid mount. Streamlined so there's nothing hindering maneuverability and no taped on switches or aggravating cords! My online order didn't go through so I called. The rep was helpful and courteous and I received my order in 3 days."

"Great Flashlight holder it mounts easy and has a release thumbscrew which allows you to loosing the holder and remove the flashlight if you need to without using any tools. Works for what I need and the surefire I bought with it lights up the room."

"Got the holder today, along with a 6P LED light from another source. Took me a few minutes to attach and I'm in business. No problems installing and fits great. Perfect set up for my AR rifle."

"Fits my Bushmaster perfect. Went on quick and easy. I always read reviews before i buy and base my purchase on them. I give this one two thumbs up."

"This is everything I was hoping for. The fit was tight, easily installed and holds the tactical light perfectly. Not to mention it looks cool and leaves me the option to mount a bi-pod and hand grip on my lower part of my quad rail. One of the features I like is if your tactical light has a push button on the bottom of the light that extends past the light casing; the strap support can be pushed forward to activate the TL. Ive had the holder installed for near about a month now on my .223 Bushmaster M4A3 Carbine. Last week I finally made it to the range because I wanted to live fire with it installed to get a feel for weight as it might impact the balance/accuracy of the weapon. Im not sniping with this weapon as you might guess so accuracy was respectable at 50 yards. I put the first 30 round mag through it at a quick pace. This typically heats up the barrel quickly and as suspected the holder started to smoke... Wanting to see what it could take, I quickly put through another 30 rounds which got the barrel smoking as well. I set it aside for a bit to cool and much to my chagrin, the holder held up just fine. I was worried about the material melting to a point that would introduce slop or play in the fit, there wasnt any.All in all, Im quite pleased with this holder and would highly recommend it to anyone considering mounting a bi-pod or like me, doesnt like bulking items on the side rails. Besides it looks cool."

"Great buy!!! Got it the other day and installed it with almost no problems. I say almost no problems because the idiot who designed it didn't make the screws long enough and getting them started into the nuts can be a hassle. Well worth it though...adds a good look to my Rock River AR-15."

"The product looks good, but is a pain to assemble. The screws that come with the unit are to small. Be ready to make a trip to the Home Depot for longer screws depending on which flash light you have. Other than that, looks good on my BushMaster."

"Very easy install. Fit my bushmaster like a glove! I don't understand all the complaints about the screws. The screws are perfect in legnth. Any longer would be to long. If the other reviews about the screw legnth make you aprehensive don't be. It will fit just fine! The holder holds a surfire G3 perfectly."

"got the mount and it fits pretty good on my Colt M4, the screw lengths were not a problem for mounting but two important things to think about before buying are the length and end-cap diameter on your flashlight. Since the sling swivel is directly behind the mount it can interfere and if the end-cap is larger than the body diameter it will not fit."

"This is a great fit on my AR-15. It took less than 3 minutes to install, I had no problem with the small hex nuts or the little wrench. This has a secure fit. I didn't need to use the diameter spacers. Make sure to get a flashlight that is the right length, if it is too long it can bump the sling swivel. CTD service was first rate as usual!"

"This flashlight holder looks good on my Bushmaster, everything fit like it suppose to, just be careful if you plan on using the thumb release. The e-clip is small and well...I lost mine so I just put the other screw in. But very happy with this product and was delivered fast. Thanks!"

"This is a great mounting system if you don't have Picatinny rails. I put this one on my Colt HBAR and it works great. Just make sure you know the size of your light. My Pelican M6 fits perfect but smaller lights may require you to file down the spacers they send with the mount."

"I do agree it is a well made product, but beware, this product will absolutely NOT work with any kind of tail cap cord pressure switch due to how close it mounts to the factory swivel mount on gun. You can also accidentally bump a tail cap switch with you sling turning light on or off at the wrong time. It's also very picky in regards to what flashlights work with it also due to closeness of sling mount. You can see how close it sits in the picture of it."

"This holder is well made and strong. It was perfect for my Stagarms AR-15 and I used the LIGHT-313 flashlight CTD recommended and didn't need the shims. The holder and light are an impressive addition for home security, and I have a foregrip which allows me to opperate the light with my index finger knuckle! No disappointments from CTD! The light does come with batts, by the way. Parts shipped fast-3 days from Texas to Naptown."

"As a former Sgt of Marines and current Law Enforcement Officer I'd say this is an ok mount. The quality of the make of the product is great, the fact that it mounts under is great because than you don't have to deal with the off-set of the light if it is mounted to the side. However it does mount extremely close to the front swivel and hand guard, only allowing short flashlights to be used. Also the diameter of the ring cannot hold over a 1" flashlight. "most popular lights can be used" is not true, there is only going to be a select few to use. I had to run to the nearest home depot and get longer screws in order for it to hold my light, so with a few modifications it is working well."

"The Elzetta ZFH1500 fits my carbine perfectly and provides a very solid mount for my light. Now I can attach my duty light to my carbine quickly using the Thumb Screw which keeps me from having to have a dedicated weapon light. And the slim design of the mount lets me keep my carbine in it's case or in my vehicle rack. Great product!"

"I bought this since I wanted to keep my stock hand guard, but I wanted to mount a flashlight. This part is just what the doctor ordered. Nice quality, fits snug and looks fantastic on the gun."

"I bought this item for my DPMS Panther Lite and it fits this gun perfectly! It was very easy to put on. The flashlight I bought for it was a hair too big, so I had to use some vice-grips to hold the thing while I put a couple of the screws in. Even with this little problem, it only took a few minutes to install. Great piece of equipment and an excellent addition to my AR."

"As advertised. Aesthetically pleasing as well. If you have a pressure switch activation system, this mount is good to go. However, be advised you will notice a shadow from the barrel impeding on the brightness of the light."

"Used to have a bigger light mounted on a rail with a pressure switch. It added too much weight to the gun so I took it off. I used this light mount with a Surefire G2. Worked great! Perfect position for the light. I also loved how light it is. I was able to take my rail system off, since I no longer needed it. Perfect for a patrol rifle."
