"The Yankee Hill [R] Machine dovetail Angle Mount 2 1/8 inches all steel is made great Quality,BUT for the price you would think they could throw in a Allen wrench!. Every thing else I have ordered that needs a Allen wrench GAVE you a Allen wrench!,no complants on the quality of the product, just on the company Yankee Hill [R] being such money hungery tight wads that they can't even trow in a Allen wrench! 4 Bullets on the rating,[would have been 5,but tight wads Yankee Hill [R] could not throw in a Allen wrench!]"

"This is a well made rail that is perfect to put on your quad rail to mount a small red dot like the Sightmark Holographic Black Mini Shot Reflex Sight (SCP-272). I'm using a 4X scope that is on my flat top AR, and this short rail is mounted as close to me as I can get it on the quad rail. For 3-Gun, it's works great at not a high price. It give me the ability to use the scope for long distances and the red dot for short. All it takes is a small turn of the carbine to bring the dot into view. Rail fits tight, and so did the red dot that I mounted."

"It fit perfect on my AR-15 A3 flat-top receiver. I mounted a Red Eye Doctor on it underneath a BSA Platinum 8-32X44mm scope with a Troy BUIS. I was shooting at a paper target 100 yards away in semi-rapid fire. (Squeeze--squeeze--ect...) I was amazed at the results all hit within target, and a buddy of mine shot with it. He said, \"I thought rotating it would feel uncomfortable, but it feels natural.\""

"I have heard good things about this company, and I was not dissappointed with the quality of the part. It is a very good and solid mount. The issue I have is that the mount sits up too high. I have an Aimpoint holographic sight (not a mini). It sits up so high that I have to move the stock into a very un-natural position to see through it. From what I can see, there is plenty of room for YHM to move the overall height down on this peice at least a quarter of an inch, which would help a lot. I am either going to have to add a new cheek mount to correct the un-natural sight alignment, or try to find a much lower profile holographic sight."

"I used this on my M4 carbine in Iraq. The mount fit perfectly without loosening up at all during the whole deployment and allowed me to mount either a laser, light, or a front grip to it without sticking too far out from the side."

"The mount does what its supposed to do. Solidly attach and perform a 45 degree angle to mount an accessory. It attached to my AR15 with no issues, and does not wiggle. If I need another one, I'd get this one again."
