"This is a good sturdy sight, but it is for gas blocks not forearms. Good quality."

"This sight was awesome today on the range. I zeroed in 6 bullets. Make sure you buy the matching rear sight with this one. GREAT with my BSA red dot. I can pop them up and look easily through red dot window to my front sight."

"Not as sturdy or accurate as a fixed front sight base. Bulkier than a YHM flip sight."

"This is a nicely made item, at unbelieveable price. The only complaint is that under heavy recoil from .50 Beowulf the mounting screw gets loose (I only tightened it by hand). Using a drop of blue (non-permanent) loctite fixed it. I don't ever need to mount/remount it because it is a flip sight. And yes, it is a little bulky as it was mentioned by another reviewer."

"The sight seems pretty good, only fired a couple shots from my AR so I didn't have time to zero it. Mine doesn't fall off of my rifle."

"Ordered one to use on a gas block build. The sight does not adjust easily at all - way harder to move than a standard AR15/M16 front sight post. I also ended up bottoming out without making it all the way to zero. The mounting screw loosens by itself during firing."

"you get what you pay for----trash made in china I regret buying this but luckily I kept my back up iron site for my armalite m15a4c spr cheaper than dirt is your walmart on line for your 2nd amendment rights and I'm glad to have them but this part --came apart after a few rounds if youre mounting on iron gas block go with the higher priced item or stick with the fixed front site"

"One of the most poorly designed BUIS I have ever tried. I also could not get it to zero due to the post bottoming out. The attaching screw is too soft and I ended up deforming it trying to get a solid lockdown. The matching rear sight is worth the money and I will keep it to use as a spare."

"great deal for my Armalite M15A4 sPR"

"I shot my flat top M4 .223 for whole weekend Appleseed event and never had one problem (Over 300 rounds fired). I wanted to improve my shooting with open sights and picked up a set of UTG front and rears. I greatly improved my scores over the course of fire. The unit clicks into the up position solidly enough - I highly recommend this unit. Maybe a little tough to adjust - I would have given it 5 bullets if a 4 prong tool had been included. For those who complained about bottoming to post out; a file or Dremel works wonders to take a little of the top."

"I bought these recently and I had to wait a whole week to sight in my rifle. When I finally did I found out that this front sight is way too tall for an M&P 15 OR. The gas block on my rifle is on the same plane as the upper receiver on my rifle. This is for a gas block that has a rail on a lower plane than the upper receiver. Lesson learned."

"This sight is pretty sturdy and bulky, not very sleak looking if that is your thing. You should buy the four prong adjustment tool if you dont have one cause it's hard to adjust the needle. The sight also isn't very wide and the needle is thick so its hard not to cover what your aiming at."

"this is a good sight although it is to tall for my m&p 15 i would recommend to shooters with low profile gas blocks"

"Well I just bought my Bushmaster ACR. I love the gun and the sites on it, but I wanted to have a spare just in case. I order this and I am immediately dissapointed. It is not a spring release, and looks tacky on my gun. Just a little advice, purchase the TROY Industries battle sight series because they are great! Anyways thanks CTD for all the items in the past and future! Semper Fi"

"Ordered this sight and the matching rear for my M&P 15. The quality is what one would expect for the price, but my big problem is that the front sight is way too high and cannot be zeroed on my M4 style M&P.I switched to Troy sights and was almost perfectly zeroed out of the box. BTW, the rear sight is fine, only the front was a problem."

"I use this with also it rear sight, and it is an easy to deploy. Just gotta get it sighted in. I use this sight combo on my AR-15, sig 516 and doesn't interfere with my red dot scope that I currently have on it. So if my red dot stops functioning, just flip these sights up and good to go. They use screw knobs for the bots to attach it to the rail allowing for quick and easy mounting and unmounting. Would recommend if got the room and height clearance. They work well as a pair."

"I can't believe people actually will come on here and give this item 1 bullet just BECAUSE THEY ORDERED THE WRONG PART! Figure out your rifle and buy the correct sights, don't bash the product because you're an idiot.Whew, OK. Well, these irons work nicely as backups. I use a red dot primarily and the front sight would be in the way if it didn't flip down. Has stayed sturdy on my gun over around 500 rounds, no LocTite (which I plan to do shortly). Gets the job done, nothing fancy."
