Designed for light, fast action the streamlined CTR (Compact/Type Restricted) stock's A-frame design is snag free and shields the release latch to prevent accidental activation. The extra power lock mechanism uses a premium chrome-silicon spring to avert auto-collapse failure and maintains strength by resisting spring relaxation. The CTR features a supplemental friction lock system that minimizes wobble (friction lock performance may vary depending on the receiver extension's dimensional tolerances) giving you a stable foundation for enhanced weapon accuracy. The Mil-Spec Model includes a standard 0.30" rubber butt-pad for positive shoulder purchase even when wearing body armor or modular gear. Designed for use with a mil-spec buffer tube (not included). Made in U.S.A.

"Although it can be found elsewhere for $2 less, I decided to order this from CTD knowing it would arrive quickly. It was on my doorsteps barely 24 hours later. It's a good simple buttstock. Nothing fancy, not secret compartments to store all sorts of random goodies, but it works. With the \"friction lock\", the stock doesn't not wobble at all. This is good if you use older ARs (or military M4s) that have seen a lot of use (and abuse). Very good stock, probably one of the best designs on the market today."
