"this is a poor attempt to make a carry handle.first off--this part is slug heavy--could be made of pot metal?second the sight portion has lots of slack and the click positions are very soft.-third--this is more of an air-soft part than a rifle part.it looks OK if you just want your m4 flattop to look like \"far-cry\". i finally made the sight work--after much work.it is OK now--but if it had cost one $.01 more than it did i would feel a RMA would be in order.most of the stuff i got from CTD has been of good quality--but this needs to be listed as air-soft--"

"Item seems well built for the price. It does have some slight play in the rear sight but so does the $100 RRA handle I have. Mounts solid and tight on both rifles I tested it on. Finish leaves a bit to be desired,it's not the anodized finish as described, but instead looks like a thick coat of black paint, looks durable though....time will tell on that one.....But for the price what do you want?"

"I purchased this sight because it was the cheapest carry handle/sight on the internet. I mounted it on my new DPMS A3 Lite and the bolts were NOT snug, in fact they managed to back themselves loose after only 60 rounds. This thing is made of VERY cheap metal and is simply painted black. (It bubbles and flakes too) Aside from that, the important issue is that the whole handle seats itself crooked on the flattop AR-15's. I went to sight in the iron sights and you have to turn the adjustments all the way to one side to get it to come even close to your point of aim, but limits out before you can achieve a zero. Even if it could be sighted in at all, the adjustments would be lost as soon as you bump the sight, it is too unsteady...All in all, I would not recommend this to anyone who plans on mounting it to anything more real than an airsoft gun."

"I guess I must have just got lucky. I got mine way back when all this stuff started going crazy last year. It has held up for me fine. I'm just guessing but it has probably held up to 1000 rounds of 556. Then in Oct. I got a Beowulf and it made it threw 100 rounds with that beast. Now its back on the Bushmaster and I have no concearns at all. The only reason I can't give it a 5 is because of the soft clicks in the windage adjustment. It works fine, you just have to be carefull your only doing one click. But it will stay put after zero. Trust me if it can handle .50 Beowulf it can handle anything. Hope everyone else gets these same results."

"Looks and works great on my Archangel 5.56 style Ruger 10/22 stock conversion (RGR-080)"

"Yes, the handle seems heavy; it is all in the thumb knobs and full length left side plate. Otherwise, the mount is aluminum. The casting pour circles are visable on the left side but the finish looks anodized, not painted. Click stops are firm, if not bottomed out. Yes, the sight has movement, but it should not affect windage. All in all, I am pleased with the part. It is probably a second shift part, sold as generic, for far less than the priceier name brand product. If you need rear sights full time, get an A2 receiver. This one will do me just fine."

"Did not tighten up on my rail, and when I elevated the rear sight, it got wobbly and really loose in the handle, and the slot where the fingers go thru the handle is not large enough for my fingers."

"I almost didn't buy this. There were some bad reviews on it, but mine seems to work perfectly. I put it on an S&W M&P15 flat top and it fit perfectly. After 200 rounds of fire, it never shook lose. Glad I went ahead and got it."

"The handle/sight did not tighten and remains loose. I don't recommend this one. Looks nice but that is all."

"Just got this carry handle/sight today. Was disappointed that it didn't fit tight and slide back and forth. Found that it needed to be as far back as possible (almost touching the charging handle). The tightening bolts in the handle should not sit in the slots of the top of the rifle. The handle needs to sit up higher. The only thing I don't like is that the reap aperture is huge. I would like it to be half that size but I will probably add a red dot scope later."

"I sighted in today and found there is a flip up peep sight in addition to the large rear aperture. Handle remained solidly attached while firing. I would order this handle again. There should be an instruction manual with the handle."

"Good quality. Identical to M4 mil handle, but does not tighten enough on the JR Carbine rear rails. Allows for movement and distinct rattle. I plan to shim the top rail tight, but it would have been perfect if the rear knobs went 1/32\" tighter. works well with a \"same plane\" front sight."

"This thing is pretty much worthless. It will not clamp down on the 1913 top rail, it moves forward and back no matter how tight you set the knobs. I gave two bullets only because the sight parts fit nice and tight (spares), but the handle clamp is junk."

"This carry handle will not clamp down securely on the upper receiver. It is loose no matter how much I tighten it. Useless."

"Even when fully torqued it still slides back & forth on the rail. Finish was pretty bad also."
