"Honestly, I bought this scope because it was very inexpensive and I needed a throw-down scope so I could start shooting my AR-15. I plan to buy a more expensive optic system later, if I don't go completely broke buying gasoline. The quality of this scope exceeded my expectations. It was solid and mounted easily to my flat top (it also comes with a handle mount, if you need it). The lighted reticle has 11 settings for low light situations -- more than is necessary, but who's complaining? I gave it 5 bullets in respect to the price vs. quality ratio, I have not shot it yet to see how well it holds a group (and therefore have not tested the BDC). This is a full function zooming scope with a focus ring on the eye piece. It comes with a detachable snap-string cover. The only advice I will give you is to buy a riser (about 0.5\" ought to do it) because the flush mount is just a hair too low. If you have doubts about the fixed AR-15 front sight interfering with the view, don't worry -- it becomes essentially invisible through the scope, even without the riser."

"I wanted a cheap scope to take to the range, and that is what I got. Mount alone is probably worth the price, and yes you can still use your iron sights to help sight it in. However paralax almost makes the scope unusable. I wouldn't use it for anything else than plinking."

"I just received this scope by mail. I am now going try to send it back if I can. The parallax is unbelievably bad. If the scope is set at 3 power it appears like it is set at -0.5. At 9 power it is very fuzzy and looks like it is at 4 power. My cheep of the cheep walmart scope is 10x better"

"i purchased this scope with the idea that it was inexpensive and would get me by for awhile. however i am very pleased and suprised by what i received. very good scope for the money. don't buy a $60 scope expecting a $500 product."

"Nicer than what I thought it wold be. It does come with a yellow lens cover, bonus. I have had this for a month now and have no problems with it. I even left the light on for week and its still good. Battery included. altought it deos seem a little week for 500yds. I will say most people can't believe that I only paid $60.00 for it."

"This is a decent scope for the money. However, do not expect 1/4 moa adjustments for this ,,,Its more like 100ds, 200yds etc. The lighted retical is fine and my batteries have not gone dead for 2 years....(Although i don't use the light much on it.)I had to send the first one back because the parallax adjustment was frozen and they sent one back that was operational."

"I just got this in the mail and while mounting the scope on my ar-15 the top turret just came off. I not talking about the cap... the whole friggin thing. I could see inside the scope. This is the first product I have bought here that I had a problem with, but this is junk.I could see where someone miss drilled one of the holes for the mounting screws inside."

"Bought this for a Christmas gift for my Dad. You could hardly turn the illumination dial. You almost had to use a pair of vise grips to turn. Very upset I bought such a low quialty gift for my father on Christmas. Hope I can send it back!!!!!!!!!"

"I bought this scope for my AR-15. When I tried to sight it in. I couldn't even get it close. You can hardly turn the illumination dial. The top sight adjustment dial just pops right out, you can see inside the scope. When you adjusting the scope the top adjustment gets a little tight like if your towards the end of turning it. Shoot one time then it'll loosen up again when everything in the scope bounces around. I liked how the illumination of the whole inside sight, but what good is that it you can't hit the broad side of a barn."

"This just shows you get what you pay for. I bought the scope and hardware for my Armalite AR in October. At first there were no problems. Now it is March and the crosshairs have moved almost sideways in the scope. I checked the waranty and it does have a two year waranty but the company only wants $30.00 to inspect it and such before they will repair it. I will save up the money to buy an appropriate scope for my rifle."

"Bought this scope because let's face it...I'm cheap. Sighted in fine, was almost dead on out of the box. Optics are clear and fairly sharp, if it keeps working it's a deal for the money."

"This scope is the worse I've ever seen. It might be better if you could adjust for windage. It's also not very clear at 3 or 9 power. I have a pellet gun scope that blows this one away, thats sad. Save your money and buy a real scope."

"I am going to try and be as professional as possible. As with many items I purchase, I buy them and may not get to using them right away. I purchased this particular optic with the intent of mounting it on my AR, taking it to the range and plinking with it. A couple months after recieving it, I did just that. I soon found that this is the worst product I may have ever bought. I cannot see past 50 meters with it due to the poor quality of the lens. It has a horrible fish eye effect. I called CTD and asked to return it but they wanted to send me the same junk in return, and not even a store credit. The only reason I gave it one bullet is because of the M16 A2 mount they sent with it which I can use on another rifle. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! It's not fit for a pellet gun. Look for these to soon be on clearence for $1.99."

"Got scope and mounted it to gun. Took to the range and bzo'd. was fine at 30 yards. Took back to range and shot at a 100 and was high off the paper, Made adjustments, was still off the paper. Tapped scope shot again was off the paper Low. made half adjustment to get center. Then optics went fuzzy!! Next shot clear, and so on and so on. Could not get to hit zero, and fuzzy optics at that!!!! Save your money buy a real scope"

"This is a nice scope for the money. I have not had a chance to shoot with it yet, but I don't exect any problems. The only thing I did not like was there a so called range finder. It is nothing more than some mill-dots on the reticle."

"So I do agree with the others, the lenses could be better. If you take the time to use the focus and maintain the same eye relief the lenses do clear up nicely. Seems to be holding zero just fine. Ive transferred this between two different AR's and it zeroed on both. The biggest thing I would change is that the magnification could be better. Compared to my Bushnell this scope's 9 power matches my Bushnell's 6 power. I do like this scope for the money though... Would buy again..."

"First of all, you do get what you pay for. The paralax is a problem. Eye relief must be perfect to minimize this. This is not a sniper quality scope so don't expect that type of result. However, on my AR-15, once zeroed for about 100 yards, it held the zero well. The variable power adjustment ring is difficult to turn. I have not had any malfunctions other than the mount. Some Loktite is needed on the mount to keep it from backing off. It is worth the money. Just don't expect a sniper shot with it."

"Nice looking scope , But fisheyed to death, also did not hold zero well at all, ended up going with a leupold 3x9 VX-II much much better but a lot more money...."

"New one came and we'll see how she does. Cheaper Than Dirt did me right, I hope the scope does, too."
