"This ammo is great in other calibers, but not good in 9x18. I have had jamming/feeding problems with this ammo on more than one of my 9x18 pistols. I don't recommend it. I would buy AE ammo for other types of pistols in a second."

"I bought a used Model 82 CZ 9mm handgun a while ago and stumbled onto the Makarov configuration. The pawnshop didn't offer too much information. I thought I had a simple 9mm. Finally I compared a few different types of ammo and the Federal Eagle is the hottest ammo I could find. Right out of the box!!! I really feel it contributes to the accuracy and handling of my CZ."

"This is so far the only ammo I have used for practice for my Makarov. Not that the others or better or worse, its just the only one I have used. If someone had the other for me to test I would. I have never experienced a jam with Federal. I do clean my weapons though after every practice, maybe that would any who has that problem."

"I own a Russian Baikal IJ-70 with Pierce grip. Love the gun. It cycles and shoots all of the varied ammo that I've ever run through it over the last 15 years just wonderfully - with three exceptions. This stuff is one of those three, failing to eject cleanly, and even reloading a spent case. I bought 100 rounds and had 9 failures. I suspect weak powder loads. The only other ammo with this problem was CCI's aluminum-cased rounds. I won't use Norinco either, due to large numbers of key-holed targets -"
