"The absoulte best ammo i have ever used in my glock, has the take down power of a .45,also have fired it in my Kahr PM9 kicks like hell but the resullts on the other side of the are excellent."

"This ammo is the best I have shot out of my all three of my pistols I own. It hits the hardest and is the most accurate. I own a Glock 19 & 34; and a Browning Hi-Power and all three of them are loaded with these when I carry these for CCW protection. Thank you CheaperThanDirt."

"Super ammo. Amazing expansion. Great accuracy. Unbeatable price. This is what I feed my 9's. BUY THIS WHILE YOU CAN!!!!"

"Shoots a hell of a fireball out the end of my XD-9 sub-compact, but has the power and accuracy of a much larger and higher caliber gun. WOW!Get it while you can!"

"Great ammunition, clean, reliable and accurate. It does a great job on steel plates and stuff. For defensive capability get if you must have a 9MM get at leat a 124 GR round. Shots that should have killed bad guys many times over were shook off and the guy continued on for an hour long vehicle pursuit. When asked directly, Federal said,"YES THIS IS A GREAT ROUND,IF YOU STILL LIVE IN 1981""

"This ammo is very good indeed. All I have to say is that this is the exact ammo that the Philadelphia Police Department Uses!"
5.0 5
"This is the best +P+ ammo for the money! Absolutely fantastic. Great expansion (.750) in wet news paper cronograft at 1425 fps avg. The only thing bad is the flash, WOW. A real good buy. Comes in a plane white box marked 9BPLE.."

"OK, if you love your .9mm, the Federal Hydra Shock load is the bomb. The ONLY load I carry is that of the Federal Hydra Shock brand. I carry a .45, with atleast 6 Mags. Old habits never die. Any way, back to the .9mm, the Federal Hydra Shock is just the best, and the best you will get with your .9mm. This is serious stuff! For those of you that live in a state where you can practice the second Amendment just set up a plain metal garbage can and see what you get from your .9mm with Federal Hydra Shock. It will shock you."

"I just bought twelve more boxes of this Load! (don't tell anyone how good this Load is, and at this price, or we will be on back order again! :)"
5.0 5
"Just bought four more boxes of these. Best price around for +P+ LE ammo. The only round comparable to this that I also use for self defense CCW is the Ranger SXT +P+ which is 127gr. But those go for almost $30.00 for a box of 50 plus shipping. So these are a real bargain."
5.0 5
"I put 4 boxes downrange from my FNP9, just for fun. The ammo kicks hard for the size, the muzzle flash is impressive for the size. I'd figure this as real stopper, in a personal defense situation. Very accurate when shooting at a 7 yard target. Very accurate when shooting at a 25 yard target. Great ammo at a great price. Do not end up on the wrong side of this hot load."
5.0 5
"Priced low enough to make it a reasonable range round, this +P+ so impressively powerful that I use it in my home defense gun, alternating each round with a Glaser Silver. To date, my FNP9 has eaten 10 boxes of this stuff without so much as a hint of malfunction. Feeding is flawless. For such a small bullet, the muzzle flash is huge. As expected, recoil is significant but not unmanageable. This is a 9mm round, right? Did I mention that the round is very accurate? From 7 yards I shot 3 inch groups with ease. I'd hate to be on the wrong end of this sucker. Buy you some..."

"Ranger Mark says...Not a bad lil bullet, shoot three nine pistols one carbine, really rocks the short rifle, but, dont compare to 45acp as I carry 2 of them and it just aint as good as my old 45loads,ok but not all that, bad people beware........."
5.0 5
"Bought 3 boxes of this stuff and tested it in my 'ballistics gelatin' and let me tell you, it absolutely blew it apart. 4 layers of denim didnt even stop the expansion or penetration. Good buy for SD ammo..."
5.0 5
"I agree with the other reviews. Fire everywhere it seemed like out of my Kahr 9. Big muzzle flash, and it almost seemed like some escaping from the ejection port too? Significantly more recoil than the tamest 9mm rounds. So follow-up shots might be slowed a bit. But if you make the first shot good, I believe the power in this round will have the desired effect. I don't regret purchasing several boxes of this ammo. I only ran one clip through as that's all I had with me, but those rounds feed and fired good. I would buy these again with self defense in mind."
4.0 5
"This is some high quality ammo with good kinetic energy. Just wish it was 124Gr or larger. Works flawless in Glocks. If you dont have some form of balistic material or a big piece of meat to waste, then try a thick phone book with just one round and check out the damage. Just imagine these rounds in .40 or.45!"
5.0 5
"Awesome ammo!! Highly recommended esp at this price. Shot at a water jug and it totally destroyed it. I put the video up on youtube. Search for video id of IGcsqRc_ltM Very nice ammo - Very nice price. Hope they never run out of this stuff!"

"WOW,thanks CTD. I have a Glock 17 with a ported 6" Lone Wolf barrel. Had trouble with cheaper ammo having enough power to work the slide with my ported barrel. NOT anymore, tight groups, reliable, and cheap. As long as CTD has these rounds, its all i will buy. Thanks CTD"

"I ordered a couple of boxes of these rounds mainly because of their value. Most of the better self-defense rounds come in quantities of 20-25 for about the same $$$, so I figured these were about half the price of the +P gold dots. From the first shot I noticed these were hot rounds, within SAAMI parameters for +P, they're really not +P+ but they are at the limit of what you'll find in a quality SD round that does not exceed your the maker's limits set on your +P rated firearm.I tested them with a SigPro SP2022 (3.9" barrel). Accuracy was outstanding, but there was significantly greater recoil over the 115 grain Winchester ball ammo I usually practice with. Still, it was very manageable and double taps and quick follow up shots were made easily and accurately after a few tries.Good ammo, great ballistics, phenomenal price."

"So I ordered three boxes of this stuff in November of '08. I thought that was a good deal. It shot great in my Ruger P89. Like everyone else said, it's powerful stuff, but worked well for me with no problems. Now I see it's almost half the price I paid! Wow! I'm ordering more, just to store for later."

"OK guys. Enough is enough. To become knowledgeable on a subject, you MUST STUDY! Theories are just good ideas, UNPROVEN BY FACT! Here is the one, telling fact on Federal 9BPLE: In ACTUAL SHOOTINGS of ACTUAL PEOPLE, it has the BEST RECORD of all 9mm loads. That is FACT, not someones' theory. Evan Marshal (Detroit PD Homicide & SWAT, Ret.) and Ed Sanow (Benton County, IN, Deputy) list it on top of all 9mm rounds at 91% one-shot stops, in their real-world 20+ year database of 21,000+ shootings. That it is also supremely accurate, makes it even better...Thanks for the advice, Mas!"

"I purchased some of these rounds a few months ago for home defense and could not be happier. The ammo is very accurate and very powerful. Thanks CTD! I can't wait to order some more.."
5.0 5
"This ammo is hot. Definitely more sizzle than ordinary FMJ practice rounds and some other hollow points I have shot. I would hate to be on the receiving end of this 9mm ammo. Ordered 100 rounds of this and 500 rounds of Wolf FMJ on Thursday (9/1) and at my door on Saturday (9/3). I had to try some on this stuff out and I will be ordering some more for guarding the castle along side my Glock 20 with 16 Black Talons. As usual, my glock 17 never ceases to amaze even with the 33 rounders running full throttle. Thanks CTD! :)"
5.0 5
"All I have to say is, I shot a large watermelon with 1 Hi Shok round (115g) and it decimated the watermelon. Nothing was left to shoot at, compared to a fmj theyre really devastating."
5.0 5
"Fired some through a 5" tactical XD.Fast. Controllable recoil. 100% reliable."
5.0 5
"I have personal experience with this round and it will do its job, you just have to do yours and hit what you are shootng at.Like the 9mm replaced the .38spl, the .40 is replacing the 9mm. However, you must hit your intended target and when you do it with this round they will feel it. In my opinon the 115gr +P+ line of ammo has a better track record then the 124gr +P line even though the 9mm was invented around the 124gr."
5.0 5
"THE only carry ammo you need to consider. Nickel plated case for low light case checks and corrosion resistance. Controllable and accurate. Google 9PBLE, this stuff absolutely turns itself inside out when fired into substance. Feeds reliably in my Glock 19 and Kahr CW9 and shoots point of aim at 25 yards. If I had to pick on it the flash might be a bit much in low light. Also the lead is quite soft and tends to deform when it hits the feed ramp, especially on the CW9. However that is like saying that a Porsche has no trunk space and rides rough."
5.0 5
"This stuff is unbelievable! I compared it side by side with other top 9mm loads (The 124 gr. +p+ Hydra-shok being one of them) and the 9BPLE is superior for stopping power and accuracy. Get your hands on this stuff while you can. Thanks Cheaper Than Dirt!!"
5.0 5
"This is good 9mm carry ammo. I tested a box of it in my G19C and G34. This stuff fired perfect and was very accurate with very little flash."
5.0 5
"Great round with plenty of power! Fast shipping too! Thanks to Cheaper Than Dirt for a excellent product for a fair price. If your on the edge about purchasing this round, I would advise you to go ahead and buy it, you will not be sorry!"

"Ordered 4 boxes of 9BPLE yesterday (01/15/10) with some other stuff and the order arrived today (01/16/10). Great ammo and great service."
4.0 5
"I rate this load as "O.K." It is very accurate and its rounded tip ensures positive feeding. I like the nickel plated brass. I shot this load out of 3 different barrel lengths into 3 different media; wet newspaper, duct seal, and water. In every case the jacket separated from the core. I believe a bonded core bullet would be superior."
5.0 5
"I have carried this ammo in my back up/off duty carry weapon for several years. I carry a CZ 75 Compact and have gotten great accuracy out of it in both static qualifying and combat courses. It has a mild recoil for the power it throws down range. THIS IS THE 9MM ROUND FOR SELF DEFENSE. I say this as an experienced law enforcement officer and combat veteran. If you can't get a .45, this will fit the bill."
1.0 5
"Only 1 out of about 7-8 shots expanded as advertised. The rest acted like a fmj shooting into phonebooks. Very disappointed, as this costs 2x as much as fmj."
5.0 5
"I had a professional firing range test out this ammo as they had never fired it prior. The man doing the bullistics gell test is a cwp or ccw instructor and also teaches a tactical and advanced shooting course. That being said, he was very impressed with this round!. The expansion in gel alone was 5/8 inch and penitrated 10.25 inches. He shoot 3 rounds in gel only ,all were consistant with very minor deviation in depth. He then shot 3 into a gel covered w/ tee shirt and a jean jacket. Expantion was very good but more difficult to measure due to deformation caused by clothing. The penitration was 11.3/8 inches. non of the rounds seperated from the jacket.I will call this my ideal home defense round, for the cost you WILL have a hard time beating this round.period Its very accurate in my gun also ..Taurus pt92ss"

"I've gone through a few boxes of these rounds in my S&W M&P 9mm. They cycle perfectly and don't offer too much recoil. Their packaging is solid. The only gripe I have is that, after being loaded into a magazine multiple times (removed for practice FMJs), they tend to show some indentation in the jacket from being pressed against other rounds.Possibly the best part is that they get to my house in two days every time. Thanks Cheaperthandirt!"
5.0 5
"I tested this awesome ammo the other day at the range. Needless to say it performed flawlessly. I had no way of knowing how it expanded or penetrated but it shot perfectly point of aim in my G17 and made sub inch groups at seven yards! This is all but match grade ammo if Ive ever seen it. Muzzle flash was negligible and recoil seemed to be no more than standard pressure ball. Id recommend it for any modern service grade pistol as a defensive load any day and will be buying it as long as its available"

"Fit form and function is 100% for this ammo in my Glocks (26,19,17,& 34). I gave this 3 bullets because it breaks apart badly when shot into water, these should be fine for social use but could be better. I am looking forward to rabbits and small game with these though since they expand and break apart so well. These should not over penetrate to badly."

"So I figured what the heck, Ill try this. Its my only carry ammo now. At 50 yards I can hit about 80% with most ammo, usually brown bear because its so cheap. With this I was hitting 100% believe it or not. 100% accuracry with about 1.5 inch grouping with my Walther P99."
5.0 5
"I loved shooting this ammunition and it immediately made me feel confident that a 9 MM is powerful enough for personal defense. The range officer pointed out to me that the +P+ rating is not recommended for my S&W M&P Pro model 9mm pistol. I confirmed this in the manual. I am keeping a box for HD but I am now cautious about shooting too many rounds of these. I'm conflicted because they really feel strong, fed without any problems, and shot very accurately at 15 yards. This stuff is hot!!!"
4.0 5
"These are some reliable fast rounds, just make sure your firearm can handle the extra pressure. Local Law Enforcement still uses this round for their 9mm pistols(G17&G19). The only problem is this that due to the high velocity, this round will have core jacket sepperations. Still a great price for 50 rounds."
5.0 5
"As a Gov't contractor , I've seen this ammo at work. I'll keep it in my ready bag for the next deployment. This round makes the insurgency run for cover. It nice to have round you can bet your life on. Thanks CTD. Always in your service."

"This worked sweet in my sig p229!! This is defently a round ya can rely on! No jams, very clean, and hits where ur aiming! was impresed! I want 100 boxes!!"
4.0 5
"Good clean and reliable with low recoil for a +P+ round at a great price here. I find the Federal Classic 115gr JHP much more accurate."
5.0 5
"awesome buy...and available in the people's democratic republic of California!! the ammo itself is fairly low-recoil (for a +P+ round). cleanburning, and well worth the money i spent!! i'm going back for more, before the lawmakers in Sacramento get even more restrictive on what you can and cannot have as a law abiding citizen. if you want awesome ammo, at a good price, fast delivery time...then this is the place, and this is the one!!"

"Balistics gel is superior to water for testing. Some threds below refer to seperation after being shot into water.I hope thats all anyone should ever need do. However, as my lower post states, I had a professional group test this ammo for me on gel only and gel w/denim and a tee shirt covering and neither test seperated any round though did disfigue on the denim slightly. Five rounds into each medium. Trust the positive posts on this round, unfortunatly these are selling like crazy now so stock up when you can."
5.0 5
"This round is time tested and battle proved. Typically, in 9 mm, I prefer 124 grain +P. However, this round has a little less mass, but closely approaches the bottom range ballistics of .357 Sig. I would caution all the terms +P & +P+ because they can be misleading. For instance, the Corbon 115 g. +P propels the projectile at 1350 FPS, therefore it is in reality a +P+ round. Slightly faster than the Federal. Does the 50 FPS make an appreciable difference? Yes and no. In barrel lengths of 4" & greater, very little. An example would be the GLOCK 19 Model with a 4.02" barrel, and the GLOCK 26 Model with a 3.46" barrel. A chonrograph will detect a tad less velocity in the Glock 26. For practical defense purposes, this loss is not truly significant. Expansion may be slightly less, but again, nothing to lose any sleep over. Both rounds have proved effective in real world applications. As an old USMC vet of the S.E. Asian War Games, I cut my teeth on the COLT M1911-A1 in .45 ACP. Being a well known instructor, many who know me from the DARK AGES, consider me a heretic. They would refuse to believe that I would employ a 9mm Parabellum cartride in a defensive shooting, even were it captured on video. My rationale for rethinking my position is simple. With FMJ rounds, bigger is always better. A .355" 9mm may expand, but a .452" .45 ACP doesn't shrink. Now with the vast improvement over bullet design, caliber counting is far less significant than it used to be, especially when speaking in terms of high performance hollow point rounds. The +P+ will serve you well, and is a more consistent performer than the the "hit & miss" standard velocity Federal Hydrashock.NRA Certified Instructor Law Enforcement Expert Rating"

"Powerful ammo, but surprisingly easy to manage recoil. I hope some more is available. Is there any in .40 cal?"

"These are the same rounds SAS used during the 1980 Embassy Raid where they killed all the terrorist. Shot placement was the key along with a lot of holes in the body."
5.0 5
"GREAT GREAT GREAT!!! For $20 per box of 50 rounds you cannot go wrong. Shot point of aim out to 25 yards in my beretta 92fs. No FTF. Great ammo at a great price. As always CTD had it on my door step in less than 2 days."
5.0 5
"I love this ammo! Ive used it as my carry ammo in my full size Beretta for more than a year."
5.0 5
"Make sure that your weapon is +P+ capable. This is great ammo and no there were no problems in my G19, XD Sub, or Keltec Sub2K. It went bang every time. It never jammed, stove piped, FTF, or misfired!"
5.0 5
"Bought a box of 50 due to the good reviews and pricing. I have been very happy. Shoot great out of my Glock 19 (Gen3). I will buy again."
5.0 5
"There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said. GREAT ammo (older design) but still used by a lot of Police Dept. The bullet looks a bit different than older lots (the hollow point cavity is larger & deeper) and this lot uses nickel plated brass."
5.0 5
"No complaints, will buy more."
5.0 5
"Oh yeah, chronograph showed just under 1300 fps out o my glock 19 and 1580 fps from my Hi point carbine. Does not make the pretty flowers like the newer stuff from most mfg. but the real world stats prove it works. Just hope wyle coyote shows himself in my backyard again so I can try out my new red dot, LED light, and 9BPLE out of my carbine."
5.0 5
"I fired these out of a factory faulty ruger p95. I sent the gun to ruger and they fixed it for free. Point being that out of my lemon ruger, this ammo didn't jam, when everything else did, and I ram about 200 rounds through it of quality ammo before I sent it back to ruger. This stuff was accurate and devastating to all targets, and doesn't kick terribly harder. About the difference between a 22 regular and a 22 hyper velocity."
5.0 5
"Runs fine in my Glocks and Sigs. Great price for a good carry load!"
5.0 5
"I was carrying Golden Saber hollow-point because the great reviews. I just went to the range to use the old carry ammo and refresh the carry ammo. I bought a box of the Federal to test out. I'm happy I did. The ammo has a harder 'pop' in the hands but the recoil isn't as bad as the Golden Saber. More importantly, I am personally more accurate with this ammo. I was getting groupings of 3 inside a folded dollar bill (at 25 yards) with the Golden Saber, but with the Federal ammo, I am able to fit 3 rds consistantly inside a silver dollar. I'm shooting the same, the big difference is the ammo. No jams, better accuracy and slightly cheaper than the Golden Saber. I'm sticking with Federal. It's my new carry ammo"

"Great defense round ."

"Federal 9BPLE ammunition has a history of success to prove it can be trusted to perform reliably for personal protection. The field tests I've conducted with it further convinced me to use it in my full size carry pistols, and the 9BP SV version in my sub-compacts."
5.0 5
"The Federal JHP 115 Grain +P+ is a great round! It is very accurate and reliable. I'm going to buy more of them right away."
5.0 5
"Best $18 spent of ammo. Defiantly as hot as it gets. Made sure to put some regular feds in before these, and damn is there a difference. Buy these, I'll be getting a few more boxes."
5.0 5
"I ran this thru a Glock 34 & an UZI copy carbine. Runs clean, accurate but does have some jacket separation. I soaked old catalogs in water overnight to test penetration - was very deep, especially in the carbine. The jackets that did separate from the core had already gone very deep. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this ammo. Stock up while you can. CTD folks are easy to work with and take good care of their customers."
5.0 5
"Check out the the info on this round on stoping power stats 90% one shot kills I think that is self defense is all about!"
5.0 5
"Just got several boxes for my new EDC Glock 19, shot a box at the range and love this round! Zero flash, very mild recoil and very accurate. Couple that with this rounds street rep this is a definite best buy for SD."
4.0 5
"Fired in a Glock 19 gen 3 and a Glock 19 gen 4 ave vel 1286 fps (422ft lbs energy). This shoots accurate as any and has a good, if not very good, street record, but every round I put into a water-filled jug completely fragmented ( even brass core fragmented). Penetration averaged 12 inches. It is one of the most impressive rounds on contact with any water-filled container I've seen in a 9mm! I will buy more."
5.0 5
"No issues whatsoever through my Kahr PM9. Milder kick than I expected, but you can definitely feel the energy."
5.0 5
"I have used these pretty extensively in my 3 Taurus 9mm's and they are a great round. I have them loaded in my 24/7 pro as my home defense gun and trust my life with them."
3.0 5
"Ammo fired great, no problems what-so-ever. You can feel the extra kick, but it is very manageable, in my Sig. The only reason that I rated it only 3 bullets is because I wasn't very accurate with them, at 15yrds. Notice that I said "I wasn't very accurate with them." As soon as I switched to my favorite 124gr Federal American Eagle ammo, it was all good in the hood. With that said, I think that they would serve me best as a short range, home defense round. Very good price."
5.0 5
"1300 fps is not a joke. Fired 20 rounds and it ran like a dream in my g27 with 40-9 barrel."
5.0 5
"Ordered 2 boxes of Federal 9mm Luger (+P+) 115 grain jacketed hollow points item # 9BPLE for my S&W 5906 and my S&W SD9, both used for concealed carry and home protection. I like this ammo for both guns. I only own S&Ws. But most of all I like the service, ordered on-line Wednesday afternoon, 09-07-2011 & Fed-X delivered it at 10:00 AM on Saturday, 09-10-2011. I like this ammo for the heavier 5906, that I bought new in 1995, but the design of the newer model SD9 makes this ammo work well for me in both guns. It's hot stuff and the price is right so I will buy more!"

"Guys, I am not usually writing reviews on any products unless it is expectionally good and service was top notch! Tell you what, I ordered this ammo on friday 9/16 and was delivered 9/17 and 8am in the doorstep. Wow! and the quality of these rounds are new to none as these a LE rounds. Glad I made this choice and CTD -> You guys are the best. I will keep this in my mind for my every ammunition needs."

"This is reliable and powerfull ammo. Shoots better than great out of my Gen4 GLOCK 19. And the price. My FFL dealer has been looking for these rounds for months, and when I told him about these prices, he about pooped. Thank you CTD. Yet again your name is spot on."
4.0 5
"I have a Ruger P-89DC 9mm with Hogue Grips and Meprolight sights on it for home defense. As hot as this ammo is, (and it is hot) the big Ruger feels like a Cadillac with this ammo, which is why I prefer 9mm. I can use this hard hitting +P+ ammo and still have rapid target reacquisition. This ammo is accurate, inexpensive, and by all reports highly effective. The price is low enough to allow me to practice with it once a month or so.I wish I could afford to buy a 1000 rounds at once."
5.0 5
"Guys, for this price you should get as much as you can afford. For what it's worth, the cases are either nickel or nickel-plated. I bought some for my various 9's. Haven't tried them in all of them but I'm sure this stuff works just fine. +P+ does seem to recoil a little harder but it shoots straighter than a laser beam out of my 4" XD9. For the price, you can shoot this stuff almost as cheap as some of the plinking ammo out there. Very happy with this ammo and CTD's lightning fast shipping."
5.0 5
"After viewing the various FBI & LE test data of this ammo on Federal's web site, I was very impressed with performance of this loading. Barrier penetration seems to be the only medium where the 115gr loading pales in comparison to the 124 & 147s. I've fired 500+ rounds of this ammo with no issues. It's accurate if you can handle the extra recoil of the +P+."
5.0 5
"These are the best bang for the buck you can buy. You can spend a lot more of your hard eared money and not have any ammo that works as well as these do. I have shot a short 1,000 rounds through my Glocks and they all love it. I have shot it trough all 9mm Glocks (26, 19, 17, 34, and 17L). The following are the stats from my chronograph through my Glocks. Measurements where taken at about 8 ft from the muzzle. G26 V=1243 E=394, G19 V=1302 E=432, G17 V=1293 E=426, G34 V=1352 E=466, and G17L V=1383 E=488. Wow, 488 FPE from a 9mm, you can't get better than that. I am buying a lot more. If they are out of stock again, you can blame me :)"
5.0 5
"I bought 15 boxes to add to my stock pile. I shot off 3 boxes and I must say it is a hot round but easy to control and it expanded. One didn't expand, but I think it was because I fired out of a 3 in barrel on my XD sub compact. It might be an old design but it has the street cred to back it. Buy this, you wont regret it. Keep prepping and keep practicing."
3.0 5
"This is a super hot round at 1300fps from a nasty 115 grain JHP. The bullet is very nicely designed. This bullet design dumps loads of energy into the target. You can witness it when your shot hits its mark. The bullet opens up like a fan, and clearly does heaps of damage to anything that I have shot it at. That being said, I don't think this round is very accurate. Every salvo of fifteen that I have shot with this round has seen 2-5 "fliers" way off of mark. That said, I always keep my G19 33 round mag loaded with this. Never a feed problem, and turns a G19 into an Uzi"

"Wow!! This ammo is wicked hot!! I bought a bunch for the zombies and fired off a few. They work great with my Glock. You can't buy better ammo - just more expensive ammo!"

"Great ammo, no issues. Fair for the price. Will not be disappointed. Shoots clean, hits hard."

"I really like this round. +P hot and nice bullet that's similar to the Rem JHP with good expansion. I highly recommend this round for self defense. I will be buying more!"

"Very pleased with this ammo! I purchased 500 rounds and shot up 100 so far. Very accurate and powerful. These are some hot loads! 115 grain 9mm +P+. I will be buying more!"

"This is great ammo, but my Beretta 92FS Inox took a beating. The gun still functions as it should, but the ammo shot really dirty and the falling block chipped a bit. No major damage, and the block's a cheap part to replace (I haven't had to replace it yet, but I assume I expedited the replacement date). Just fair warning. Other than that, it kicked a lot and hit the target. I keep a few, and it is definitely inexpensive, but I wouldn't shoot it anymore in that particular gun. My Hi-Point carbine loved it though, and I can see its potential for home defense/hunting."

"I bought a few boxes and my guns absolutely loved it. Recoil is not bad at all, plus I seem to shoot better with this stuff than any other ammo I've tried (and I've tried a few). Not to mention I can practice all day without having to take out a second mortgage on the house. I cannot now seem to resist the allure of 9BPLE...must buy more...must buy more..."

"Federal 9mm +P+ 115 grain BPLE Self Defense is an older bullet design but an excellent round for my S&W SD9 and my S&W 5906 that I bought new in 1995. I also practice with and carry hotter rounds from other manufacturers, but am still fond of the performance of this ammo. I only own S&W handguns. I just restocked with four boxes. As usual, I was impressed with the short delivery time; ordered/shipped on 09-12-12 and FedEX showed up today (09-14-2012) with my package. This is popular ammo and not always available, so if you like this round as much as I do, I suggest you stock up while you can. CTD also has the best prices."

"Great shooting ammo. Not for novice, recoil manageable. Accuracy is dead on. Compares to a .45 ACP in recoil. Takes a little longer to get back on target, but for experienced shooters, it's no problem."

"Federal makes a great product in any caliber for a great price. These +P+ 9mm rounds are no joke and the price was nothing to laugh at either."

"This ammo is superb. Bought it when it was a little cheaper, but I still think the higher price is a good value. Functioned very well in my HK P7M8. No jams or FTFs. Great group at about 8 yards, fit 5 rounds into a silver dollar size hole. Buy as much as you can as long as your gun can handle it."

"This was a great buy, then somebody let the word out. Now you can't find it. Bullet has even expansion in my test and the power is perfect. Since I believe in "practice with what you carry," this was perfect. Go buy that Hornady or Winchester stuff and let me have my ammo back, please."

"Great ammo! Federal BPLE has earned a reputation as a manstopper over two decades. Hard to find but well worth the wait. Great ammo in Hi-Power and Kahr P9. Accurate, reliable and hard-hitting."
