"I purchased a pack of these several years ago for snake protection during the early fall. They work great, just as they were designed. The range is short but they will kill small snakes and scare the crap out of large ones. cons: The shell does not have enough pack pressure to chamber another round. You can't expect that from a capsule full of bb's."

"I bought this ammo to consider taking with me for camping. I was going to shoot it out of my Springfield XD. I put 10 rounds through it at the range and surprisingly it cycled every round without a problem. I think the XD has a weaker spring which is why it fed them so well. I didn't give it a full rating because I haven't shot anything with it yet"

"I got 2 boxes of these to try in my Glock model 26 for fishing just in case I ran across any snakes. Out of the 4 rounds I fired, 1 didn't appear to have any gun powder, but the other 3 fired fine. The 3 empties with powder ejected fine, but it wouldn't cycle a second shot shell into the chamber without mis-feeding. They are only effective for no more than 4 feet without the grouping getting too large to do any damage. So, for any Glock owners, it's only good as a first round in very close range."

"I have used this round for several years in a Browning Hi-Power for snakes on the family farm.It feeds fine in my Browning Hi-Power. There have been more than a few Water Mocs and Copperheads that have met their end from this round with a double tap from my Browning.Downside, four to six feet is the limit in this application. Past that a shotgun is indicated."

"I shot a few boxes of these out of my Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm. I thought they would make nice snake killers. But they don't have enuff punch to eject the spent round. They shot good out my fathers Ruger P95 though."
