"I tried the 85 Grain in a P11 KelTec. Out of 11 rounds 3 did not fire and 1 did not feed."

"Shot these into a 5 gallon bucket of water at 25 feet. The bullet did not disintegrate as advertised. About 1/2 of the bullet remained intact and penetrated the back of the bucket. There is better ammo out there that performs much better."

"I just bought this ammunition and discovered that it's part of DRT's old stock. Current DRT ammo has expansion cuts in the copper jacket around the hollow point (like Golden Sabres, Hydra Shoks, etc.). The copper jacket on these is smooth and the hollow point looks very different from new stock. The old stock ammo got a lot of bad reviews. I'm now worried about what I bought."

"I gave this 4 Bullets only because I have as yet to fire them thru my SR9c or my Sig. As far as shipping goes, it gets 5 Bullets, I ordered these on a Monday and they were at my door at noon the very next day. The packaging was actually funny. It took me a little while to find the box of ammo in the bubble wrap and paper inside the 10 times larger box it was delivered in. Very nice job CTD."

"I've used DRT for years, and I'll give you the only FACTUAL review I've found on here. Those complaining of bad primers, etc.. THIS WAS TRUE for an old batch. DRT used old wolf primers when ammo shortage was in play. HOWEVER, this is NOT the case with new batches. I've tested most of the claimed \"self-defense\" 9mm, .40, and .45 rounds in soft tissue (NOT water jugs, gel, etc...), and to put it plainly, I now carry a 9mm w/DRT 85gr ammo INSTEAD of my old .45 1911 (which I still love to shoot). At 20 yds, one round left a 3\"x5\" wound cavity w/shattered bone and shredded tissue and did NOT EXIT. DRT 79gr .223 at 30 yds constantly makes 4\"x6\" (or greater) wound cavity and, if exiting, DOES NOT PENETRATE A CARDBOARD backstop. I've been doing this for military/LE for years and know FOR FACT that accurate ballistics testing can only be done on warm, organic tissue, containing water (large, heated ham w/bone works great, compared to live tissue). TRY IT BEFORE YOU KNOCK IT, because somebody didn't like the way it expanded in water or a gel block. Last I checked, there's no such thing as aqua man or a dude made of dry gel and lacking collagen fiber, connective tissue, bone, etc... You all stay safe. Semper Fidelis."

"I have bought and test fired this ammo at the range. It has a loud muzzle blast but little kick, making 2nd ant 3rd shots easier to place. This is excellent for indoors self defense."
