"I was converting a WWII 8mm Mauser to be used for deer hunting. I did not have any bullets and the local store didn't either. So, I bought some Wolf 8mm ammo as they were cheap enough for practice. We were shocked with the accuracy of the 8mm using the Wolf ammo. I am not the best shot in the world but I ended up getting 1\" groups at 100 yards using a 6x long eye relief scope (not the best scope in the world). I stretched the 196 grain bullets to 200 yards and, even with the drop I was getting 2-3\" groups. I didn't notice any particular problems with noise, smoke, etc. from these bullets. I did get a deer with this gun and needless to say I will be using these bullets exclusively in this gun!"

"after being frustrated about Remington and Olympic ammo giving me 15\" groups at 100yards with a german 98k, I bought some wolf and sellier&bellot ammo,...I was highly impressed with both..-both yielded a 1.5 inch 5 rd group with iron sights!.....it should be noted that while the wolfs published mv is only about ~50fps slower than the s&b, the wolf recoiled like a 30-30, while s&b like an -06, the wolf also grouped about 8in. Below the point of aim, while the s&b grouped 6 inches ABOVE point of aim...(???) not sure how 2 rounds can be identical on paper, and have repeated 14\" distances at only 100yds between the 2........ its very accurate for the price, but the s&b gets my vote b/c its trajectory is matched with the mausers rear sight adjustment"

"W/o question, the BEST \"Military-Caliber\" I,ve ever used. After suffering through a box of S&B's recoil and muzzle-flash in my 7.62x54R, I decided to give Wolf ammo a try. Was I ever glad I did!!I have a Collecter's grade M-48 from Mitchell's Mausers. Had a peep-sight installed. With the hunting aperature, the Wolf 'Gold' will put all five in a fist-sized group @ 75 Meters shooting off-hand, no rest, and w/o my reading glasses."

"Don't be fooled into thinking this is the same ammo as prvi partisan or hot shot. It might look the same, but shoots much better. The ammo shot better in my k98 mauser than anything I've tried including the M75 yugo sniper ammo. Awesome ammo for a great price, with reloadable brass. worth a try, I'll be excited to see what it does on deer and black bear this year"

"I bought these bullets because I had just gotten a K98 Mauser made in Germany in January 1943. They were cheap and I always get great shipping results from Cheaper Than Dirt. To my suprise I was getting 2 inch groups at 60 yards and my friend who shoots better than I do was getting 1 inch groups with iron sights! After tweaking the gun and putting a scout scope where the sights used to be, I can shoot deer with it out to 200 yards easily. Last year I killed a deer with these bullets at a range of 60 yards. It went about 30 yards and dropped."
