"I only bought Forty rounds and about half miss fired."

"Shot pretty good through my Yugo SKS. Shot 20 rounds so far. Smelled a little funny and got caught up twice. Simply had to pull bolt back and slam forward again. Was probably due to the lacquer coated shells. Shot good, but I would recommend getting the 640rd. spam cans instead. Shipped fast, as usual."

"I bought 500 rounds of this stuff, sadly before I had tried a box of it. It shoots fine through my Yugo SKS, but it will not run in my Ruger Mini-30. I think at best I got 4 rounds in a row through it? Maybe it is machine gun stuff with really hard primers, but the Ruger hit the primer and left a deep mark, but it would not fire. Maybe my Ranch Rifle is just too picky, but I have run a lot of other cheap stuff through it with no trouble? Wont buy it again."

"I'm not sure what the deal is with the Mini-30 or certain SKS rifles, but this stuff runs great in my SGL21 and I'm sure it would be fine in other AK rifles as well."

"I have used about 1000 rounds of this through two different AKs and an SKS. Goes bang every time. Seems to be the best of the cheap Russian ammo, IMO."

"I only shoot these from my Saiga. Not a single misfire after hundreds of rounds. Be aware that they are really dirty, and I doubt they're non-corrosive (they leave residue very similar to what milsurp ammo leaves in my Mosin). This shouldn't be a problem if you take care of your weapon, though."

"My AK loves this ammo. I've run through about 400 rounds at the range and not a single jam, misfire, FTF, or stovepipe. It IS dirty and leaves a copper residue, but nothing a bronze brush and some TLC can't take care of. I prefer this ammo for the following two main reasons: 1. That purple ring is not just for looks, it's a lacquer seal that prevents water from getting in your powder. So in theory, yes, you could submerge your AK in water, take it out, and fire it without any sort of maintenance. 2. It's boat tail, which increases spin, allowing for straighter flight."
