Radway Green British .223 military surplus with SS109 heavy penatrator steel core projectile. This is 720 loose rounds in an ammo can. This is the standard for military use with the heavy military bullet, .223 works better in the newer rifles with faster rifle twist. The .223 caliber, 62 grain full metal jacket, brass case and Boxer-primed, non-corrosive. 120 round bandoliers and 10 round stripper clips are in the cans so you can pack them if you prefer. This is surplus ammo and may not include all of the bandoliers or strippers. Simply put, this is some of the best ammo on the surplus market today at a great price. Ammo restrictions: We do not sell ammunition to Hawaii, Alaska, Massachusetts; New York City; Washington, DC; or Cook County, Illinois. Please check your state and local laws before ordering ammunition. Ammo Price Is Per Box Ammo Cannot Ship by Air!

"Not much British Radway left. I shoot this at 50 and 100 yds. I have a YHM suppressor on a 16 \" AR barrel. Accuracy is great with a red dot sight. I will use this at Knob Creek in the assault rifle match."

"This ammo failed to eject in two previously totally reliable 11.5\" Bushmasters. According to AR15.com this ammo is down loaded to 2700 fps for British rifles. U.S. standard is 3025 fps. It did function in a 20\" Bushmaster."

"This is the worse price I have seen on this ammo. It was $130/720 rounds not even two months ago from Aimsurplus. 200% increase in ammo raping?"

"The Radway British SS-109 is some of the best 5.56 ammo I have ever shot. Previously shot Wolf, Federal and Silver bear. After three hundred rounds, it took only four passes with a boresnake to get the barrel back to spotless. Powder burms ALOT cleaner than Wolf or Winchester leading to a cleaner reciever after what would normally be a two hour job took only thirty minutes. That includes Q-tips!"

"Thie price increases that I have seen in 5.56 recently is probably due to the fact that those growing numbers of us that really like to shoot our ar-15s have realized that if we use the civillian version of the Army rifle, we are going to have to compete with the boys in Iraq for the same quality ammo. That means we are having to pay a premium for top quality ammo left over from Government contracts American, British or otherwise. I will gladly pay a little more for top quality than suffer the insult of inferior grade ammo. no matter how inexpensive it may seem. In other words, you get what you pay for!!!"

"This is decent ammo for a good price. Remember, you are buying 5.56 military 62 grain steel core ammo. This is not the typical .223 remington that you buy for 5 or 6 bucks a pack at walmart, its military ammo. Its expensive becasue the military needs it more that we do. I have had no problems with this ammo, despite the slower fps, which should have nothin to do with cycling your gas system. Ammo that travels at 3500+ fps is 55 grain or lower, anythig higher will travel slower, but again this should not effect your gas system. A bad load will effect your system, which is more than likely what a previous reviewer experienced. I dont suggest buying this ammo for purley target practice, but more for staying in the bug out bag until needed. Do yourself a favor and go to your local surplus store and buy the \"spoon\" that is used to load m16 mags. All in all, Im happy with what I have, & Im happy with the price I paid."

"Perhaps CTD should try harder to minimize propaganda (example: yeah, dude, these guys have it way cheaper!) in the product reviews. We customers want to see real experiences from real people. My review focuses on the Radway Green 223 product. My neighbor James bought a few thousand rounds of Radway Green a few weeks ago, and we've been working our way through it. We sent a few hundred rounds downrange for fun before we tried for accuracy. While we expected average performance, we did much better!I'm not much of a marksman, but I shot a 1-1/2 inch 3-shot group with an M4 at 100 yds. The Mini-14 is next, and I expect similar performance. This is good ammo at a good price."

"Relatively speaking this is fine ammo. If the price shocks you then you haven't been paying attention. Suppliers and manufacturers have been telling us for at least the last 6 months to be expecting large increases in prices after the first of the year. I have my own suspicions as to why. I haven't read it or heard it anywhere, but it seems about right. Some people would like to take our weapons away from us but haven't been as successful as they might like, so maybe they figure they can make it hard for us to get ammo. An AR or AK or anything else is pretty much as good as gone without ammo. What do you guys think? This Radway Green ammo could be found as cheap as $120 a can 3 months ago at some webb sites, now look at it. Maybe some folks think if they can't win fair and square, then stab em in the back when they ain't looking. It isn't CTD or any other seller, it has to be back up the line in some dark corner where nair-do-wells and black-mailers hide out of sight. I got a name for them kind of folks, but kids and ladies might be reading this."

"Radway is the best ammo I have had the pleasure to shoot. At 300+ yards this stuff was phenomenal."
