"Has fairly good penetration on road runners, piglets, hogs, bunnies, white tail deer, turkey, fish, coyotes, skunks, and cattle. It is accurate out to 400+ yards too. I would recommend."

"Rounds function well with no misfires or malfunctions and at this price I plan on stocking up. I have already bought 1000 rds. and I think I'll get another 1000. Got to stock up for the Zombie apocalypse."

"Fired good and accurate....shootin' straight through my buddy's skid plate off the bottom of his ford explorer when the .40 cal did not....I had a failure to feed and probably was my rifle and not the ammo."

"Bought 100 rds to try out with my rock river.. Good ammo for the price. Shot at 75yrds at a 10x10 steel plate seemed very consistent- no jams or misfires. Buy some!"

"Feed's great not a single miss pretty clean too... Fire out of LWRC M6A3 14.5 BARREL..... Inconsistent with accuracy on paper some have more pop then the rest."

"I was skeptical because of the low price but what a good surprise. The ammo was by far the most accurate ammo ive used at 25, 50, and 100 yards. And I also expected them to be dirty but not a single box nor round was dirty. There were some discoloration on a few of the round casings but that doesn't have a significant affect on accuracy or cleaning. I used this ammo with my stag arms AR-15"

"Warning. Cheaper Than Dirt did not send me Federal Lake City Ammo, instead they substituted it for American Eagle AR 5.56. Presumably, they are both loaded at the Lake City facility, are both owned by Federal and of the same quality; however I have always thought the American Eagle is a little dirtier. Just my opinion. The 1 - bullet if for deception, otherwise the ammo's a 4."

"Federal Lake City and American Eagle are one in the same. Both are made at the same factory with the same tolerences. If it does not make the military cut by 1 mg or 1 mm than the machine moves the ammo to a different tub. Hence you buy it here there and a few other places. This is great ammo for range time. Not sure about small game but the way I see it is simple. If this is what I would have used (almost) for combat than it is good enough for me."
