This is Winchester .22 Long Rifle XPERT ammunition with a 36 Grain Lead Hollow Point at 1220 fps. It is suitable for shooting at things.

Winchester owes its humble beginnings to rimfire Ammunition. As a matter of fact, Winchester's first commercially available metallic cartridge ammunition was a large caliber rimfire load introduced back in 1866. More than 130 years later, rimfire is the world's most popular ammunition. As you would expect, Winchester has you covered with a complete line of high-performance cartridges including the undisputed heavyweight in rimfire ammunition - the 22 Winchester Magnum introduced in 1960. From precision target shooting to plinking, small-game hunting and silhouettes, Winchester is chosen by rimfire shooters worldwide.

"I just bought a box of this bulk ammo and ran several clips through my auto loader pistol. No problems with feeding nor any visible fouling. There seemed to be a little more gun smoke than the DynaPoints I also shoot, but at the 12 yard target range, they seemed as accurate. I usually buy the Winchester brand because I have had good experiences with Winchester ammo."

"I shot about 1000 rounds of this ammo and did not run into any problems and it was fairly clean and pretty accurate for hollow point. I was very happy shooting this ammo and plan to buy more."

"I bought a box of 500 the other day and i shot all of them. The problem with these rounds are that they jam every single time i shot them. They jam ALOT!!! I would only buy these rounds if you have no money and just want to mess around."

"This stuff is JUNK!!!FTF about 8 out of ten rds. from my Browning Buckmark. Threw away the box in frustration. By the way there was a recall on this crap that Winchester didnt seem to let the public know about. Not knocking winchester, I have put hundreds of their white box through my hi power and love it."

"A word of caution here.. these are 36 grains at 1220 fps speed, meaning there will be slightly less recoil than most which are 36-37 grains @ 1260-1280 fps. You will further notice, problems occurring with semi-auto rifles. Some semi-autos are built for the slightly more powerful ammo. You should not have thrown the ammo away since it is very useful in other actions such as bolt or pump. Perhaps if your semi-auto gets broke-in a bit more, it may function smoother, and may well use them.Although they work well in one of my 22 autos, I use them primarily in bolt or break action rifles, and am very pleased with them. I am a hunter, rather than a \"paper puncher\" and those big, gaping hollowpoints made of a softer lead really slams woodchucks, (Groundhogs), often doing more damage than more powerful rounds. This is because all the energy is expended in the animal.Try them in another action...."
