"I've missed black talons, and now we have them back ,I haven't shot any of the new ones yet but I did cut one open and it has \"talons\" and its 230 grains unlike Hornady critical defense at 185 grains, heck if your going to use a .45 you may as well use a lot of lead."

"Ran perfect out of My 5\" 1911- priced very well."

"Fast shpping and a great price...But...Seems to be some corrosion around the edges of the primer though; have only shot 5, and 1 ftf'd on me. Went bang on a second hammer strike, and was my only issue of a 55 rnd day. Got another box in the cart though."

"I took some to the range and they all went bang no issues. Shot some jugs of water and the expansion started in the first jug and dumped the rest of the energy in the second. Round expanded as expected. Had sharp \"Talons\" and mushroomed like the example. Retained the entire jacket and all the lead. Expanded to ~.7in. Recoil was normal. Shot from 4\" Service XD. No FTF or FTE. Had some corrosion around primer. Maybe leftover from manufacture or from sitting for a while. I would trust them for my carry gun and now carry them exclusively. Get some before they are gone. LE only and are not easy to get."

"Bought some of these to try out since they are fairly cheap for a box of 50. Seems to be a really good round. They shot almost as well as the Wilson Combat rounds I have. Maybe not quite as accurate, but my Wilson Combat loads are optimized for the 4 in barrel I have on my Kimber. Overall, very good round for the price."

"I saw a good video that compared the T series to a golden sabre and the difference in expansion and penetration was eye opening. The Talons open up to the size of a quarter and would have less chance of over penetration. Very good self defense round. This price is about 10 dollars cheaper than anywhere else, when you can find them."

"Feeds well in both my Colt Commander and Defender. Proven man-stopping power and a great price."

"This is some of the best law enforcement/self defense ammunition available these days. If it is accurate and functions properly in your guns, buy it now at this price. I've shot it in a Glock, a SIG and a Ruger and it does well in each of these guns."

"Fired from a Glock 21SF, through 1 layer of denim,1 cotton t shirt, and 1 layer of a thick cotton hoodie, and then into a 10 lb pork sholder, it penetrated right at 12 1/2 inches and expanded to almost an inch, with VERY sharp talons. This is my new carry and duty round. Buy them when you find them !"

"As mentioned by the other reviewers, some corrosion around the primers. The corrosion looks like sand or something jammed between the primer and case. The cases and bullets appear to be flawless though. No FTF or FTE. I fired them from a full size USP Tactical. The price is what lured me in, and rightfully so. I grabbed 200rds this time.I am disappointed that CTD doesn't mention the corrosion when clearly it is why they are marked down, even if by proxy (age).Overall, worth the money though. I will probably pick up more."

"This round is in the top tier of today's defensive .45 ACP ammunition, at this time rivaled exclusively by Federal HST in my opinion. It is very important to note that what others have reported as corrosion around these primers is not corrosion, and this is not what corrosion looks like. The debris around the edges of the primer is lodged corn cob media, which collects during the tumbling process. It is not detrimental to the round, and the debris will not impede ignition of the primer. This ammunition has never malfunctioned for me in any way, and has some of the best expansion and weight retention properties available in ammunition today!!So STOP WORRYING and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!"

"good reliable cc ammo."

"Probably the best price you'll see on this top quality ammo. I was concerned about the mention of corrosion before I bought them. This ammo does NOT have corroded primers so order away without concern while the price is still so cheap. Winchester does indeed tumble their ammo and a slight bit of media gets caught around the primer, i also noticed that my .45 PDX1 and .40 ranger t had the same stuff."

"Not only is the ammo and price great but the speed of service from cheaper than dirt was remarkable...thx....I just hope they get some more in real soon."
