"This a great round. I ordered 4 boxes feels just as powerful in my Ruger 44 Mag Super Redhawk as the more expensive Brand 300 Gr. I just need to pratice more at the range. Burns normally clean and cleans up good."

"Very hot load. Shot these through my new S&W Performance Center V-Comp. People who say this is not a 300 grain bullet need to look more closely at how deep in the case these slugs sit. JHP up front expands leaving massive bullet core behind to push it deep. Fun to practice with too at this price."

"Took my 629 Classic, a box of these, and some other loads to the range. I began by firing some .44 Specials. . . and the shooter in the lane next to me complimented me on having such a good 357. . .I smiled and then loaded 6 rounds of these into the cylinder and fired away. He then turned back to me wide-eyed and apologized for mistaking the 44 for a 357. A big and heavy hitting round that is sure to draw attention."

"Before I review, I assume you are a familiar .44mag shooter. I assume you know that .44mag can be anything from a plinker for the kids to a gun that hurts every time you shoot it. Using the preceding as a basis for a 1-10 relative scale, I'd give these a 6 for power. The bullet is definitely in the .44mag power range, but is not the thunderous thumper I expected to be running through my dirty harry. For comparison, UMC 180gr SP rounds have a very noticeably larger amount of power. That being said, I still think this round will take down anything put in front of it.The consistency of rounds was great and the accuracy good. I won't buy them again, not because they are a bad round, but because I like heavy hot loads and these are not those."

"I bought four boxes of these to try out in my Marlin 1894. The first one I shot got hung up in the chamber of the gun and would not eject. I thought maybe the gun was dirty so I cleaned it real good and tried again. It shot a few and then they started hanging up again. So I purchased some Hornady Leverevolution from CTD and they functioned flawlessly. If you are buying these for a revolver they might work well but I would not suggest them for a Marlin 1894. However they are a very powerful round and they should stop any critter on this planet, two or four legged."

"I've been hunting whitetail here in Michigan for over 30 years. It's only been about 12 years since I started using a pistol. I shoot either a S&W 629 .44 or a Taurus Raging Bull .44. Both with 8\" barrels. Both pistols eat this ammo very well. My usual Hunting ammo is the Hornady XTP 300gr. These rounds are very similar and $3 less per box of 20. \"If it ain't broke, don't fix it.\" I'll continue to use the Hornady as my hunting round. But these sure make life easier when I want to keep the Nikon sited in.They seem a bit hotter than the Hornady rounds. And a bit more \"dirty\". But in my mind, who cares. My handguns are treated with care, cleaned after every visit to the range and various times in between. They can handle the splash of heat added to each BVAC Bear Load. I like 'em and they go BOOM every time. An excellent choice when you're looking for a alternative round from Hornady loaded ammo. (IMO)"

"I bought two boxes and another two of Hornady (same 300 grs). I felt this powerful than Hornady which is an excellent round too. A huge flame came out from the bb. I use it in my S&W 629 5\uFFFD bb without any problems, and pretty accurate, groups of 2 inch at 25 yards. I already bought more!!!!"

"Holy cow! Very powerful round, for anything that walks, crawls or flys. Super performance in my marlin 1894, you will not be disappointed shooting this round. Top quality also."
