.416 Rigby, Norma Hunting, 400 Grain Barnes Banded Solid Bullet, 20 Round Box.

You can count on Norma.
You have to be able to count on the cartridge youve loaded and count on the bullet to do its job. Safe and effective regardless of how or what youre hunting. We know whats important when things get serious and we never leave anything to chance. The nature of Scandinavian hunting varies from the beech wood forests of Skne to open cultivated lands with wild boar, red and roe deer, to pure taiga and tundra with moose, bear and game birds. The span is huge, when it comes to surroundings, weather and hunting conditions. We always consider this when we work on development so that we can create cartridges that you can always count on.

Our program for big game hunting in .375 Holland & Holland, .416 Rigby, and .458 Winchester Magnum has now been complemented with the well-known Barnes Banded Solid. This is a homogeneous copper zinc bullet designed to penetrate the very toughest big game. The solid construction of this bullet ensures that it penetrates stable, straight and very deep.

"I used this cartridge when takiing an extremely large rhino, in South Africa. The shot was made form 85 yds. It was placed right in the boiler room. The bulliet entered the right side traveled through the chest cavity and was recovered when skinning the rhino. The bullet was just under the skin on his left side. The bulliet was completely still intact. It looked as thought it could be reloaded again. I will use this cartridge always when hunting the big 5."
