"This is ''ok'' ammo. I used it to go up to my friends cabin with my NEF 410 shotgun. The only thing I didnt like was the knock down power. From 20 yards away it was not effective on birds larger than a songbird. That resulted many times in a bird that was flapping around on the ground. The only time I got a instant kill was when my friend shot it with his super gay Federal bird shot(Which cannot kill a bird even at point blank)and I went up to it and blew it up from 5yards.I would reccomend Remington Over this any day."

"I would recomend these loads to woodcock or dove hunters only. These loads only have enough power to knock down a woodcock or a dove at 20 yards and closer. Not a grouse or a pheasent or game birds in similiar size. I would use this load in 7, 7 1\\2, 8 and 8 1\\2 size shot in 11\\16 oz loads and 3\\4 oz loads."

"Let's face it, a 20 gauge is more effective, period. The .410 is intended for the gentleman that can shoot well. It shoots more like a rifle (full choke, duh) and has a smaller payload. The velocity is about the same as a 20 or 12 gauge, just a smaller payload. The #6 is fine for dove and quail. You need to step up to a #4 for pheasant. The .410 is a sweet shooting, easy to handle shotgun. Appreciate it for what it is and DON'T BLAME THE AMMUNITION!"
