"These are good target loads. I never have a problem with ejection or hanging up. I shoot the 40 S&W in a taurus and a Smith M-P."

"Over the last 2 months I have tried 100rds Remingtom UMC 165gr, 400rds CCI Blazer Brass 165 &180gr, & 400rds of this Winchester 165gr in my Glock 23 & Sig P229 SAS both in 40 S&W. Of the 3 I really prefer the Winchester. It shoots clean and loads easier in my mags. The 100rd boxes are a great value!!"

"I Go To The range usually I buy ammo there but I'm never happy with the magte** stuff they have I also use 165-155grn ammo as my carry preference the range only has it in defence rounds thats what i carry so thats what I want to practice with So I've been searching high and low much ammo on-line and these winchesters in the grain I carry are terrific there accurate there reliable never had a problem in my XD Or my beretta 96 So I give them a 4 bullet rating(would be 5 but there not match). Fire away"

"Use this ammo in my S&W Sigma 40. 700 rounds in the last 3 weeks and no jams. Great ammo."

"I really like this ammo for the range. It does shoot clean, and I have not had it jam on me. I'd recommend! [especially if it isn't available for purchase in your area]."

"I run this through my M&P 40 and never have an issue. Plus, this ammo is very accurate for the price. Winchester White Box WWB is the best range ammo out there."

"Totally happy with this load, have run over 2000 rounds through my Taurus 24/7 .40cal and have yet to have any problems. Have aso use the .38cal in my Taurus Model 66 (20 Y/O gun) and never an issue. Highly recommend this!"

"These are great rounds for the range. Use them all the time."

"I've logged over 17,000 rounds over the past 5 years with this ammo and have not had one glitch. Amazing quality for the range. I recommend this to everyone looking for quality ammo"

"Used this ammo exclusively for three years. About 200 rounds per month. I've NEVER had one not fire. Glocks, Walthers, and Kel-Tecs."

"I've fired over 1000+ rounds of this Winchester value-line ammo through my CZ75B (40S&W). I have found it to be extremely reliable, never having experienced a single ammunition related failure. The cartridges are manufactured to Winchester's typical mil-spec standards and are generally affordably priced. The only negative comment I can make is that in the CZ75B, at least, accuracy with this round is inconsistent. I have since switched to PMC as my Practice/Range ammunition of choice as it is an equally well-made product which targets more consistently in my CZ."

"Well i cant say enough about these rounds, i would even hate to see this as a defense round. Amazing accuracy on the range and superb kick, recoil is awsome. put a few rounds in paper book shot rite through and they feel awsome. i got the S&W M&P and it was just great, no jams, fast rechambering. highly recommended"

"I purchased 300 rounds of this ammunition for range use for my Beretta 96fs, and sadly it jammed my gun several times. Accurate? Yes. Dependable? Not on your life. I had one magazine in which the round failed to eject twice!! And i use Beretta mags. No aftermarket junk. I won't be buying it again."

"To the guy below this who said these were cheap rounds... it sounds to me like you have a problem with your gun, not your ammo. I shoot hundreds of these exact rounds out of my glock and i have never had one problem. These rounds are fine, if they dont work for you than maybe you should buy a glock."

"I have been using these bullets for six years in a Glock 27 and Glock 23. I have never had a misfire, stove pipe, failure to feed or any other issues. They are surprisingly clean also. I average about 200 rounds once a month. Granted there has been the occasional flier but I've had that with much more expensive ammo also. You won't be dissapointed."

"I've been using Winchester .40 S&W FMJ 165 GR target ammo with mixed results. By mixed I mean that the ammo seems to be very reliable, but I was informed that this particular target ammo was rather \"clean\" (i.e., little carbon /lead build-up, smoke, flash, etc.), but my experience is different.I shot a full box of 100 rounds and had a number of cartridges that produced HUGE flashes. Some rounds were rather smokey, and both my gun and hands were VERY black after all rounds were fired. When I cleaned my gun, I got lots of carbon (leading?!) out of the barrel and there was grit on the slide (you could hear it)."

"I have a S&W 40VE Sigma and have never had any problems with this ammunition. Clean firing, accurate and reliable for messing around, competion and personal defense (if ever needed). If your weapon cant eat these up then you need to spend more time cleaning and less shooting. There aint no point in getting accurate and a feel for your weapon if it isnt going to perform for you in the event you might need it to save your ass! Overall great ammo and i recommend it to anyone."

"I have owned both my Glock 22 and my Glock 27 for nearly 15 yrs. and go shooting at least once a week if not 2-3 times.I have been using this same ammo for both range and competition, and have shot over 20-30,000 rounds of them in this time. As far as dependability I have never had any problems,Miss fires jams or any sort of failures. For the price they are probably one of(if not) the best round available. I will continue to use them on the range, and for comp. shooting as well. As for the guy with all the problems check your mags. Or as the other guy says \" BUY A GLOCK\"."

"I shoot a Ruger KP944 and have tried quite a few brands and types of ammo. By far, Winchester is the best I've used. Tried Remmington, Blazer and Magtech just to name a few, and have had feeding problems with every one of those brands so far. But the Winchester ammo has NEVER jammed and has been the most accurate of the bunch. Winchester made the .40 S&W first and they seem to have made it best."

"I use these rounds in my Taurus 24/7 pro. As of this past Monday I've gone through 1,050 rounds with not one problem. I gave these rounds \"5 Bullets\" and recommend them to anyone heading out the range."

"For the past year and half, I've been using this ammo in my Taurus Millennium Pro. I fired 800 rounds with no problems. This ammo is very clean."

"Used this ammo at the range this week. Had two failure to feeds in 100 rounds in Glock 23. Not sure if the ammo or the shooter but either way not acceptable."

"These are nice plinking ammo. Shot 200 rds and of that 200 rds, had just 1 FTE. Other than that, it's great practice ammo."
5.0 5
"This is good shooting ammo. Very Clean. I've shot probably 700 rounds or so through my glock 22 and never had one malfunction."
5.0 5
"Ok. I see mostly good reviews of this ammo, but, there are a few bad ones here too. I personally have shot at least 2000 rounds of this ammo through an M&P, a P226, a Sigma, and the 9mm round in a 92fs, and have had zero jams or malfunctions of any kind. The guy at the local gun shop tried to sell me on the more expensive ammo because it was \"cleaner\". Ok. So I fed a 50 box and had 1 jam and just as much crap to clean out of my pistol as I did with the Winchester. As for accuracy, I'm hitting what I'm aiming at when shooting at the indoor and outdoor ranges. Great, accurate, and inexpensivenot cheap) ammo."

"I use this ammo for range practice in my duty weapon. I've never had any jams or misfires with it. The only negative is that it is rather dirty. Usually a good value for your buck."

"I'm posting again since I traded in the Taurus 24/7 pro for a Glock 23. Again, no problems what so ever with this ammo. This is the only range ammo I will use, and recommend it to anyone who loves a great round at a good price. I did notice the box of 50 rounds did go down on this site though. I might have to order a few boxes of those while the price is down. HAPPY SHOOTING !!"

"I've shot about 100 rounds of this through my Springfield .40 XDM with absolutely no flaws of any kind. Very good ammo, a little dirty though (as stated below). Gives me no reason to believe it would let me down in a sticky situation."

"I shoot IDPA competitively and was averaging a match (130 rounds) every other week for a good year. It must have been about 2000 rounds and I never had a misfire or problem, although my fiancee shoots the USA 9mm and she had 3 misfires at our last match. The ammo is fairly accurate, with low recoil. But I find it to be dirty. Occassionally, we'll shoot in the dark with tactical lights, and the light just can't get past the gunsmoke after the first shot. You have to basically remember where the targets are because the smoke reflects the light back into your face. The last time we shot via muzzle flash, I had the the biggest muzzle flash, but also the most smoke. There is no tactical advantage to be had with dirty ammo. Also, don't forget, this is practice ammo. I just gave you two really good reasons why it can't be anything but practice ammo--smoke and flash."

"have shot countless winchester rounds out of countless different guns and only had one .40 s&w misfire great price for great practice ammo"

"This is great ammo and I've never had a problem with it. I use it for target practice often."

"Fired 300 rounds through my XDm this week and have had no problems at all. Accurate and dependable from what I have seen so far. I will continue to use it for the practice range."

"I've shot about 1200 rounds so far .Does the job and not one failed .Does shoot kinda dirty .All and all tho its a good round for targets .Just clean your gun often as needed .I'll keep using these and recomend them often ."

"I shot this ammo from a Beretta 96G. It loaded good into the chamber without fail. It didn't need a rounded nose to do this as some hollow points look like this, sometimes the bullets shape will hang on the ramp in chambering. All these needed was a hole and I'm sure they would work fine as hollow points. At twenty-five yards they were still shooting straight. Consistant bullseye's can be expected from this bullet. I was shooting at an indoor range and that's as far as I could shoot. I will go to a outdoor range and see exactly how far these bullets will shoot. I was very pleased with these rounds. I was sorry to have shot up a hundred round box in no time I was having such a good time shooting bullseye's I lost count of how many I was going through. These days with the lack of availability of rounds to shoot, and I don't reload anymore, shooting for fun has not been that fun anymore. But these bullets brought the fun back. Since I fired up a box of a hundred I have replaced what I shot times six, I liked these bullets so much."
