"i bought these frangibles thinking that they are what they say they are well when i tested theses rounds i put 2-1/2 inch dryewall 2-1/4 plywood and 1 3/4 board in front of each other and when i shot the stack of wood and drywall they went through like they where full metal jackets they did not frament like they are suppose to do and i know becuase i saw a documentry on the frangible and its not suppose to go through the object the frangible is suppose to break up so it does not go through walls i'm not going to buy these again"

"Performance was acceptable. Frangible rounds are designed to fragment upon hitting surfaces harder than the bullet itself. This does NOT include drywall. If the bullet hits dense concrete or thick metal, it will fragment. However, the fragmentation is not as fine as one should expect, so there is still the possibility of dangerous shrapnel. Also note that, although the bullet is lead-free, the primer still contains lead, so don't confuse this product for a 'green' round."

"Works exactly like it's supposed to. Frangible rounds only break up when they hit something harder than the bullet material, such as steel or concrete. They will pass right through clothes, skin, drywall, and plywood.Eventually the price of this stuff will come down and then it will earn that fifth star."

"Well the ammo that works best for fraging and not going through walls. Is the more expensive stuff. and They do sell it here on cheaper than dirt. I've bought it and used it several times it works great. The main reason I use them is if someone breaks into my house I don't want my neighbors getting hit. It's called Glazer safety slug. As far as the green BS... what does it matter if you shoot the guy with lead or copper he's still going to die. But I like the Blue tip via the silver mostly because it has less penetration than the silver tipped. So far I haven't found anything that's as good for that. As far as this ammo hitting something harder than the bullet and it fraging That would be ok if you didn't have to worry about stray fragments hitting an innocent."
