"I would look again before buying this ammo. Out of the 4 boxes I ordered, all had at least 2 misfires per box. Plus, the sealer they put on the primer is messy and gets all over the inside of the weapon."

"I've used about 2000 rounds of this in the last 3 years, and have never had any problems. Some people complain about it being \"dirty\", but since I clean my guns after every range session, that is not an issue for me. It is my favorite practice ammo."

"I have used S&B ammo for 5yrs. I use it at state IDPA matches with my glock. I have NEVER HAD A SINGLE PROBLEM ! E'Nuf said."

"In the past 3 days, I put 600 rounds of this ammo through my Glock with no problems. I did however, see some of the messy red primer sealer on the slide after firing. But it was easily removed when I cleaned the weapon."

"I have fired nearly over 2000 rounds through my SIG 229 and over 3000 rounds through my H&K USP40 with no misfires. Quite accurate at 25 feet with average groupings of four inches. Firing outdoors, the smoke was not that noticeable, and firing indoors the smoke was noticeable but acceptable (compared to the UMC that were smokier). Fouling was minimal, but I make it a point to clean my pistols after each session. For the value, it's not a bad selection. Compared to my defense load, accuracy was not far off. It's worth buying the caseload when available."

"Not bad ammo, just a little too pricey for foreign ammo. Shoots well, not any more dirty than Winchester or Federal. I have fired about 150 rounds thru my Glock 22, no problems. I just wish it was about $2 cheaper a box. But as we all know, we can't always have what we want."

"Shoots clean and I have never had a bad round after firing over 2000 rounds. Good Practice ammo. We have used it in H&K and Glock both with no fouling. Good clean ammo for the money by comparison."

"I have been buying S&B for years, started off when they were the cheapest price around. Cost of ammo has skyrocketed in the past 10 years, but S&B is still at the top of my buy list. Purchased 500 rounds for a new Beretta PX4 Storm in .40S&W. Went through 200 rounds in one outing. Solid, consistent, and VERY ACCURATE (at least to 10 yards) and feeds flawlessly. Will definitly be back for more."

"Just put over 500 rounds through my Smith & Wesson M&P .40 full size without a single jam, misfire or ejection problem. I would give this ammunition 5 stars if the price was a little better."

"I have put over 1000 rounds through my Glock without a single misfire. This is the ONLY ammo the Glock has ever seen and it seems to be very clean compared to many other brands. I am able to purchase these rounds a little cheaper in my area so I have nothing but good things to say about this ammo. A buddy of mine is a law enforcement officer and former competitive shooter and he actually recommended I use these rounds and I've been nothing but happy with them"

"Worst ammo ever. I bought a case (1000 rounds) and I am going to estimate that 1 in 10 was a misfire when used in my Glock 23.Maybe the age had something to do with it... Amo was about 2-3 years old. I would not recomend these rounds to anyone and will not be buying the brand again."

"I've been looking for some \"decent\" range ammo and these are not going to be some that I will never use ever again. Like the prior review I too have a Glock 23 that pretty much would just spit out anything, but had a malfuction today because of this ammo. Do not buy this brand! If you can't afford anything better, than don't shoot at all!"

"I've had some problems with this ammo. Mostly FTF, even on a new box that I had bought for my carry permit range test. There is cheaper ammo out there that I believe does a better job and is more reliable."

"Seriously, if there is any ammo out there that does a better job at the practice range for the money, I have yet to come across it. I have tried about 5 different types of .40 S&W 180gr. rounds and this one is by far the best to shoot. There is very little \"smoke\" and the rounds seem to be true to the aim. It is pretty unfortunate that others haven't had the luck that I have had with this round, but I would definitely recommend this round and will use it again."

"I got it few days ago. Went to range used all 50 rounds with no problems. Also used Wolf ammo which is cost 3 dollars more. I got Springfield Xmd .40 s&w. Got back home cleaned my gun and it wasn't that dirty at all. So I would say good price, trouble free ammo at least for me. Cheaper that wolf(and wolf is little more dirtier)."

"i have bought several thousand rounds of S&B in .40 s&w, .45 ACP, i have never had a single bad round and some of the ammo is now more than 8 years old. When i first started using it a box of .40 was $8 and the .45 was under $10. That should tell you how long i have been using this ammo. It is made in the czech republic. Czechs are well known for their quality machine work of both firearms and ammunition. Never a misfire..."

"I bought 250 rounds of this stuff and I got to say, it works well for the cost.I've had 1 misfire and no problems other than that. As far as the glock shooters problems with this ammo. I would say 90% is the shooters hold on the gun when it comes to jams. My glocks need a firm hold because of there weight to recoil action. If you hold lite the gun kicks more and that effects the ejection. And ofcourse the following insertion of the next shell. There for a jam."

"I have shot 2000 rnds + of this ammo in my Glock Mdl 22 (1st gen) and I have not had a single misfire. For the guy that was whining after buying a case and having problems in his Glock give me a shout, I will take it off your hands at a very reasonable price (for me) if you dont like it!"

"i enjoyed shooting this ammo. quite accurate. And the primer's are lacquered like military issue ammo."

"I've run 500-1000 rounds of this through my Sig P239 without problems. It could be a bit cleaner, but it's been reliable for me."

"I just shot 50 rounds through my S&W M&P 40 I loved it no jams or any problems. It was kinda dirty but not that bad."

"For the price this ammo CANNOT be beat!!! I havent ever had any problems in my Ruger P94 Kel Tec Sub 2000 or G22. Although ive only ran about 300 rounds.. but i will be buying more this is my new range ammo of choice!!"

"I bought this ammo simply because the cost of ammo is so high. Well, this ammo performed above my expectations greatly. I fired it through a S&W MP40 and never had one misfire or jam and the casings are made of great quality for reloads."

"Just fired 200 rounds through a Springfield XDM40 without a single issue. It does seem to be a bit more dirty but nothing major. Best deal for range ammo that I have seen. I'll be buying more!"

"I have a Sig 229 in .40 and have fired about 5000 rounds thru it varying from Winchester (white box) Remington UMC, Wolf and S&B. I bought 300 rounds of S&B ammo and the gun jammed about once per clip of 10. I've never had one jam with any other ammo which tells me it isn't the gun. Perhaps my Sig just doesn't like S&B but I will never buy another box of this stuff. It's the cheapest ammo cost-wise for a reason...junk."

"Bought 100 rounds to use in my new Walther P99. Had problems with the first 2 rounds being stove pipes, as this is the first time that I have shot the gun. I just added some oil to the slide and worked the action a few times. After that it fed the rest perfectly well. Great value for the price. Wish I could give it 5 bullets but along with every one else it shoots a little on the dirty side. Don't be afraid if the ammo is a few years old. I have shot surplus ammo from WWII before."

"I use it in my 3 Glocks, 5 sigs, and my H&K. I think it\uFFFDs the best ammo on the market, far better than any American made ammo that you get at WalyWorld and much better than Wolf. It\uFFFDs also the best price."

"I've put just over 3,000 of these rounds through my H&K USPC in one week. I didn't have a single jam."
