"I bought four boxes of these (they are plain lead bullets btw) and can't wait to be rid of the last one (by shooting it, of course). I bought these for my S&W J-frame (new - less than 400 rounds). I have to individually push a good third of the cartridges out with a pen or a brass punch - two or more and the ejector rod just won't push them out with any kind of reasonable force. I can't tell if the cases are expanding when they are being shot or there's some other issue with these rounds. I do not run into this problem with any other ammo I've shot (two other brands tried successfully with no problems at all). And it's not every one. And not the same chambers either (haven't marked them; but there's a different \"pattern\" of chambers with each loading. My recommendation - don't buy these even if they are the only .38 Special rounds you can find. ps - the .32 ACP's, same line, were fine in my KelTec P32..."

"UPDATE TO MY PRIOR REVIEW - the last box shot fine in a .357. Perhaps the casing was a little too long, too thin/expanded after firing, or both so that it got hung up in the cylinder changered for .38 special. So if this was in stock I might actually buy more but shoot it in a .357 exclusively - and buy some better quality ammo for the .38 special."

"I have shot 10 boxes of the Magtech 38 special 158gr LRN in my Taurus. I have only had one mis-fire and no problems loading or rejecting the spent loads. I'll keep buying them."

"I have used this ammo in several different pairs of revolvers, most made in Italy, replica Colt 1873, Remington 1875, S&W Schofield Top Breaks, 1851 Richards Mason Conversions. I had no problem ejecting ammo from any of these models. They shoot relatively clean, very accurate, no misfires. I'm sorry other folks have had problems. I will keep shooting these until I can get my reloading presses up and running again. If they were less expensive I'ld keep shooting them. Lazy as I am, it's nice not to load EVERY caliber that I shoot."
