"Bought some of this to shoot out of a 100-year-old revolver that was a family heirloom. The shipping was very fast. The bullets went bang and the revolver didn't blow up (which made me happy). I didn't want to shoot a hot load down the old revolver, so this fit the bill. No recoil whatsoever. The one knock on it is that it's on the dirty side. It fouls the barrel with a lot of lead and the powder is pretty nasty. Can be cleaned with regular solvents and elbow grease, but it must be done.I'm actually thinking about using my leftover rounds as practice ammo down bigger .38 SPL and .357 guns. .38 S&W was lengthened to create the .38 SPL. The recoil-less rounds would be good for first time shooters not to get intimidated by kick."

"Works great out of my old Enfield revolver.DO NOT USE IN 38 SPECIAL! 38 special is .357 diameter, and proper bullet diameter for 38S&W is .360. It might work, it might not. Don't bet your life on it.38 special was enlarged from 38 long colt."

"I have a 1943 .38 S&W Victory revolver which belonged to my Father during the 'big one'. Currently, the pistol is for occasional use only, but when I shoot, I use the Remington 38 S&W ammo. Seems to work more than well in this old revolver without stressing the steel and they are accurate. My only complaint is that it's 'dirty'...plan on some heavy duty cleaning after shooting! Thanks!"
