"Put about 250 rounds through my m1a and a few mags through a friends g3. I can not say much for how accurate the round is because we were shooting steel silhouettes @ 1,2,3,& 500 yrds, but I didn't have any ftf, jams, or stoppages. Will buy again."

"I bought this ammo because of the very low price, and the fact my DPMS AR-10 .308 extractor kept tearing the rim off the bulk BVAC brass casing ammo I bought, causing failure to extract. (never had that problem with the BVAC 5.56 fed through my Sig 516, so it could be a problem with my .308 extractor or spring). When the ammo arrived in the usual 4 days after ordering, I took it to the range to check it out. I've put about 150 rounds down-range so far using three different manufactured magazines, and have not experienced a single FTF or FTE (not to mention not a single torn cartridge rim).As for accuracy...using a home made bench vise, I was able to dial the groups in to less than 3\" at 100 yards (with a not-so-great-scope). With regards to cleanliness, I noticed no difference in carbon build-up between this ammo and match grade rounds. I would highly recommend this ammo to anyone, including for duty use. I will be buying more this week before supplies run out, so please hold your orders for at least 3 days after this posting ;-)"

"I have shot about 300 rounds through my PTR 91KF and had no failures, it was reasonably accurate. I can not attest for long range shooting, because I was shooting at 100m and averaged 1.75 to 2.5 inch groups. Good stuff for the price and will buy again."

"Good ammo ,way cleaner than Wolf. 300yds with my 16-inch AR-10 I get all within .5 inch; not bad at all."

"The only thing I really have to say about this, you better have either a spotter or be shooting in a relatively small area. These things fly forever (literally like 25-30+ feet) when my century arms c-91 cycles them. For those of you who have the same gun, you know what I mean. These are amazingly clean, far better than what I've bought in town for twice the price. Thanks CTD, you should really sell these in a bulk pack, or maybe a little better price on cases :)"

"Just got done shooting 100 rounds through my CETME and another 20 through a Savage M99. Got nice tight groups at 100 yards (1 1/2\" using a decent scope and rest). Did have one FTF (which might be something up with the firing pin on my CETME as I also had a FTF using Federal ammo costing 3X as much - so I can't really blame the ammo). In any event, it gets 5 stars because it is consistent, straight shooting and cheap. Hopefully all of their stuff will be of comparable quality, cause I'm going to buy a lot more."

"Picked these up for fun at the range because of their low price. I put about 45 rounds through a brand new Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle (freshly cleaned/lubed to spec). I found this ammo shot alright; I got some descent groups. That said, this ammo was extremely dirty and had issues loading and extracting every now and then. I felt like I was cleaning the rifle forever when I got home too! I shot some Hornady Superformance A-MAX Match 168 Grain the next day and it was much cleaner, loaded and ejected perfectly every time and groups were much tighter. Not sure if the extra cleaning and issues with loading and extracting were worth the cheap price of this ammo above."

"I need to keep some inexpensive ammo on hand for those times when I'm not going to be able to retrieve my brass. I saw this RUAG ammo and thought I would take a chance and bought 100 rounds. I am extremely pleased. It performed in my JLD PTR91 lawlessly, not a single, FTF or FTE.This is brand new ammo produced on modern machinery in the Barnell plant in Russia. Though RUAG is not well known here in the US, they are the fourth largest manufacturer in the world of ammunition. This ammo was designed as an inexpensive alternative to brass-cased ammo for use by police and military as practice ammo. This is an exceptional price for newly-manufactured 308 ammo.I've already ordered another 500 rounds."

"Pretty good for steel cased ammo. No FTF or FTE in my M1A, burned well enough, cycled the rifle, and accurate enough for 145 gr. Many are saying this is Russian ammo, but the head stamp is MFS of RUAG, which seems to be MFS2000 of Hungary, which explains the cyrilic characters."

"Do not buy these bullets. I bought two boxes and was excited when they came in because they cost so little. Don't be mislead, you get what you pay for. They were run through three different guns, a lever action owned by myself, a bolt action owned by a friend, and a semi-automatic owned by a fellow range-mate. All three guns failed to eject the round, and all three guns worked flawlessly that same day when using brass cased ammunition. Do not buy steel cased ammunition, they will fail to eject at least 75% of the time."

"I wish i would learn my lesson about steel cased ammo. It seems so attractive at the price. Every single case got stuck in the chamber of my fal. So it's, shoot, grab the charging handle and smash the buttstock against the ground to rip the case out. if you are cool with doing that than these rounds are for you."

"Ran a box of 20 through my DPMS LR-308 after replacing the spring with an extra power spring due to light primer strikes. Tried 3-5 rounds in 4 different factory magazines. No FTF or FTE. With sloppy trigger still managed some reasonable 2\" groups without much effort at 50 yards. No outstanding issues that I can tell. For the price its the best deal out there for plinking and enjoyment. Will get more serious next time at range but happy so far and ordering many more boxes at this price."

"These are great for paper targets or plinking. Shot over 200 rounds and only 1 FTE. Already ordered another 500. Super fast shipping at a great price, Thanks CTD!"

"Just back from the range today (not my first use of this ammo, but was all I had used this trip). Fired 40 rounds through bolt gun, and 80 through my Cetme. Fairly accurate, no FTE or FTF. But as one reviewer had noted. You'll spend the extra time cleaning. This is the Dirtiest ammo I have used (much worse than Tulammo..thats bad). Didn't have to utilize excessive amounts of CLP, so the savings were still a plus even though after range activities were a bit longer."

"My PTR91 loves this stuff, and I have yet to have a single problem. This ammo is great, if you are using a rifle that can actually handle it."

"This stuff cycled perfectly through my savage bolt gun. Accuracy is great. Good practice ammo. A little dirty."

"Cheap, less kick than tulla: lower fps, accurate at 300 yards 2 inch w/dpms less so out of my ptr91. 4 inch still good for steel ammo, another plus zinc coated steel no laquer buildup like tulla. stocking heavilly on these, fairly clean too."

"This stuff is great its cleaner and it doesn't gum up like tula not to mention its cheaper. My cemte eats this stuff like candy. no FTF or FTE yet besides mag issues. I just hope cheaper than dirt keeps this ammo in stock."

"I ordered 200 rounds of this ammo. I've shot 100 rounds and so far no FTF. It's pretty good for the price, it's fairly accurate, and it cycles well through my ruger gunsite scout, but it's dirty. After about 10 rounds it starts to stiffen the bolt, making it hard to cycle. Then, when you take out the bolt to clean the rifle, there is allot of red residue from the primer. Again, for the price it's good stuff, but if you want cleaner, more accurate ammo, go with something like federal or even silver bear."

"I bought this ammo based on the reviews before me. I was really let down by the accuracy at 100Yds. It was very inaccurate and inconsistent. I really got what I paid for. To me it was a waste of money. Will never buy this crap again."

"I have had good experiences with this ammo at the range (posted an earlier review), but I noticed something today. The bullets are not seated uniformly. I noticed that the bullets are scored for a crimp, but the score mark varies greatly between rounds (I used calipers to confirm). Is this going to stop me from buying? No, but it could be why some people are had accuracy issues. Those with reloading gear could easily adjust the seating depth, or just separate ammo by seating depth to get more uniform accuracy."

"I linked 300 rounds of this stuff together and ran it through my 1919A4. I didn't have a single malfunction. I will be stocking up on this stuff. It is a great value for the money."

"Shot about 100 through my Savage.....had good results on a short range, 4 rounds through one hole and one half out at 5 o'clock. Ordered a new Remington 700 in .308 and 500 more rounds of this stuff... I really like shooting my Rem 700 30-06, but this will be much cheaper...There is certainly more expensive and cleaner stuff, but for the price I can clean a gun more...."

"Accuracy is lacking, but for a third of the price of most, not too bad. Prefer Silver Bear, but for the price, I can't go wrong."

"If you are looking for practice ammo, look no further. Did not work at all in a Century FAL, but that was the gun's fault. It works great in PTR91 GI and DSA FAL."
