"I'm afraid I can't recommend this ammo. I've got a Model 70 and this ammo is too long to chamber correctly. The OAL is fine but the give is too shallow and part of the bullet contacts the rifling. I seated it a hair more and tried it out, 3 out of 5 shells had a hang fire. I contacted the company and they wanted me to call the owner, long distance, and after I left two voice messages I gave up trying. It's obvious that they don't care about quality or customer satisfaction. I guess if you are buying it for the brass it's not that bad a deal, but I wouldn't trust a hunt on it. My money is on Nosler brass and handloads in the future."

"I can concur with Matt's review. Would not feed in my Model 70 Super Grade until I seated the bullet deeper. The bullet give requires seating deeper. I have not fired any rounds yet, so I don't know about mis-fires."

"I chronographed this load from a M70 Super Grade with a 26" barrel. In three shots I got speeds between 2706 and 2864 fps. At two hundred yards the group was 3". This rifle has given me 1 1/4" 3-shot groups at 300 yds. I pulled 4 bullets and weighed the charges. They ranged from 59.3 gr. to 60.35 gr. The powder appear to be a modified ball. The brass is R-P and the bullet is Speer. I am going to reload with IMR 4350, and I suspect it will perform well. At that, the component cost is not bad."

"The box of BVAC 300 H&H cartridges arrived yesterday and they feed into the chamber perfectly. I conclude that the ammo I received from BVAC was very high quality. I used a Remington Model 721 (.300 H&H) from the bench at 200 yards. I took five shots in immediate succession and if you allow me a fouling shot, the results of shots 2 through 5 is a 2 group at 200 yards. Thats extremely good accuracy with near maximum velocity ammunition, whether factory or custom. The vertical variation of my five shots was less than two inches, which was actually less than the horizontal variation (for all five shots) of three inches. I have to conclude then that the powder metering was very accurate. I couldve probably shot better on this group and any one of the following three factors could individually account for of inaccuracy at 200 yards 6X scope, 5 mph crosswind, shooter error. Please keep loading/selling this round; theyre great!I will continue to buy them."
