"Not a bad round, I use it for practice and tend to shoot better groups then many other brands I use. I have not tried them for hunting yet"

"After dilldallying around with a few different brands, weights, etc. i finally decided on the winchester...30-06 Sprg. 150 gr. powerpoint CXP2ammo. I sighted it in on a nice sunny day and tried a lot of different conditions and ranges over a period of time and it was what pleased me the most. My zero was 200 yards and i shot targets at 1-2-3-4-5 hundred yards under various conditions from calm and sunny to windy and cold and damp. Then after i was satisfied with the results i went to the field and shot prarie dogs, antelope, coyote and deer without changing a thing and the results were perfect. I use my rugar 30-06 bolt action with a 6x18 Redfield scope because i prefer to stalk my game until i get the shot i want at the animal i want and it really doesn't make much difference at what distance the shot is i have scored perfect on every shot, the longest being 517 yards at a standing whitetail 5x5 buck and he didn't know what hit him, ran about 25 yards and tipped over. The longest shot taken at praire dogs was a 300 yard shot and many shots at 100-250 were made with excellent results. I have also shot running shots at deer, antelope and coyote from 100 to 250 yards and again i scored perfect shots. I now take my trusty 30-06 along with my 220 Swift just for the fun of it and the 06 has started to push my little buddy the 220 Swift aside although the 220 Swift is still my favorite shooter as it is so fast and flat, but that's another story."

"My hunting partner and I have been using these rounds for deer since last year. We have shot four deer, all broadside chest shots, and all four dropped like ducks in the arcade. They wouldn't go down faster if you hit them in the head with a sledge hammer. Before last year, we were using Remington rounds -- he the 150 grain variety and I the 165's. Tracking wounded deer was a matter of course. They just did not expand like these Winchester Super-X bullets do."

"The Winchester Power Point .150 grain .30-06 is a great hunting cartridge; it's inexpensive, accurate, & deadly. I've shot a few wild boar with these rounds and they've proven to be very effective. Probably the most inexpensive name brand cartridges on the market; a great value, you won't be disappointed."

"These are THE best!!! Spend your money on more expensive ammo, and you will regret it. Spend your money on these, and you will never go back. I have a custom stocked Springfield 1903 with a 2.5x scope, and i was able to nail a 2.5\" group and a 3\" group. Don't blame this on the ammo, because I don't have a very steady hand. I took it to a logging field in NC and literally obliterated some smaller logs. As for ejection, I have never had a problem; the exit every time. Just an fyi, these 150 grain bullets travel at a higher velocity and pack MORE energy (ft-lbs) than Winchesters 180 grain Power-Point ammo."

"Good flat shooting round in my Mossburg 100 ATR.Good Groups At 100-400 Yards! Very consistent loads!Best Iv'e Found for my rifle!Knock down power is great on whitetail & wild hogs! When you wack em with a well placed shot they go down like they were struck by lightnig!Last year I got a 278 pound hog with a good broadside shot at 246 yards it went about 30 feet and ploped over with not as much as kick! In my opinion for price your get a top quality round! If after larger game at longer range I'd try 165Grain or 180 Grain for thicker skined heavy boned game."

"This stuff may be budget ammo, but it's way plenty accurate for the average shooter. Like .46\" 5 shot group out of my Springfield 1903. It works! Why change?"

"Gave this ammo as a gift to my lifelong best friend for his Remington bolt action at his deer camp in the Deep South. He says it is his favorite ammo and bullet, plus he has never had one FTF in any he has ever used. He's happy, I am happy. Great job again CTD. Hooah!"
