"In the area I lived formerly lived in in California we were forced to use non lead ammo. I bought and tried the Federal Barnes triple shock 30.06 ammo in both 165 and 180 grain. (I use one with my Tikka and the other in my old Husky 30.06.) Both worked quite well on the range and in the field. (One Elk Two mule deer one antelope and two wild hogs. Im not a balistic expert by any means but the result was good enough for me. Terry J"
