"From hill to hill (about 140 150yrd) The bullit was very acurate. I aimed a little high and it hit high. Usually when you hit a deer directly in the spine it drops but it ran another few hundred yrd. The bullit penetrated the hide about the size of a pencil and then it did what it was supposed to do EXPLODE. It didnt make it to bone and wasted half a tenderlion. I was displeased with my results cause I hunt for the meat. I think I will try out the boattail 130 gr. and aim for the head!!"

"Daniel,1) If you like to eat the tenderloin, as most do, why are you aiming at it? Maybe you should aim for the shoulder like everyone else.2) If you hit the deer in the spine, it wouldn't be running (not with the back legs anyways).3) I have had great luck with this bullet. Shoots very flat and expands a lot. Have gotten 4-shot quarter-sized groups at 100 yards out of Browning A-Bolt without a vice."

"Best ammo I've used. I bought one box of these and a box of remingtons. I shot the rem first and at 100 yards they were all over the place. I thought it was my scope, but when i shot the winchesters i had four shots that were all touching. Thats not bad for shooting off of sandbags! And at 200 yrds they were still right where i aimed but just about an inch low. This is going to be the only ammo i use."

"I killed 6 deer last season, 5 dropped in thier tracks, 1 ran about 30 yards. All shots hit exactly where I aimed, though to be fair my longest shot last year was around 150 yards. My son killed two using my gun with the same results. I couldn't be happier. I'm sticking with this ammo for deer."

"I have used this round for the second year now. At 30 yards the bullet has low expansion but the deer don't go far. At mid ranges, 100 to 200 yards, the deer tend to drop in their tracks with exit wounds golf ball size or bigger. My farthest shot on a 10 pointer last year (2008) was 354 yards holding backbone high and the drop was 3 inches....he only ran 25 yards. I'm sold on the round for my Savage mod. 11"
